Review: Veteran producer Electric Indigo delivers a brilliant, experimental techno release for Suicide Circus' Dark Series offshoot. "Cinq" is laden down with tonal bleeps, but the backing track will cause all the attention as the Austrian artist uses what sounds like sheets of metal on metal to create a clattering, jittery rhythm. "Zero" is even more out there; this time the focus is on microscopic beats and waves of grungy, dubby feedback that sounds derived in equal parts from PiL's death-dub disco and King Tubby's mixing desk. The remixes are also of a high quality; Bill Youngman turns "Cinq" into a more direct, acid-led groove, while Dadub's version of "Zero" sees a stepping back beat added to Indigo's sprawling dub noise.
