Review: The Smile For A While crew turn to Italian producer Andrew Soul for their latest transmission, resulting in a loud and proud record of house music histrionics tapping into an old-skool sensibility. Soul enlists Hard Ton for vocal duties on the A side tracks, which range from the emotionally charged deep house depth charge "Sweet Love" to the grinding dirtiness of "Take Me Higher". On the B side, Nico Lahs gets to work on "Sweet Love" and turns it into an irresistibly funky shuffler with plenty of New Jersey garage flavour rubbed into its bones. "Your Breath" then rounds the EP off with a freaky cut perfect for the after party.
