Felipe Gordon - "The Last Time I Saw You" (4:57)
Loure - "So Dive" (6:15)
Loure - "Club Shade" (6:24)
Review: Harlem NYC based 13th Hour return with more music for the witching hour on their third release, after having previously shown off great grooves by Belgian Ricky Razu, Tbilisi's Hamatsuki and local lad M. Vaughan. This time round they have decided to focus on two select talents, with the A side being taken care of by Colombia's Felipe Gordon. He takes a break from the three-piece Mercury to deliver the Jazzmatazz inspired cut "I'll Become Blue" and the dusty, emotive deepness of "The Last Time I Saw You". On the flip, things start to heat up with Australian Loure (Apparel/Slothboogie Jamz) who serves up some sexy late mood lighting on "So Dive" and vocal-led cut "Club Shade".

Deep House
Grip (5:56)
Two Times Deep (7:12)
Inner-Side (6:36)
Breath Of Light (7:44)
Review: Australian producer Loure is next up on Bristol's Shall Not Fade with a bunch of typically dusty and lo-fi house jams on Memories In Strobe. Starting with the emotive sunset breaks of 'Grip' to ease you into the mood, The Melbourne-based producer then gets stuck into some acid laced deep house on the aptly titled 'Two Times Deep' and over on the flip is the understated late night mood music of Inner Side' - definitely the strongest track on the EP. Following up promising releases on Nothin' Personal and SB Jamz, Loure adds another great release to his discography.

Smooth Talk EP

Deep House
Smooth Talk (6:16)
Mutual Motion (6:13)
Smooth Talk (Saine remix) (5:24)
Needs (7:54)
Review: Australian producer Loure received plenty of props for last year's Westside Movements EP, an impressively dusty, soul-flecked and assured debut 12" on Noire & Blanche. Happily, this follow-up for Apparel Music is every bit as strong. He begins with the sumptuously jazzy, eyes-closed New Jersey deep house vibes of "Track 1", before mixing up crackly spoken word samples, muted jazz horns and dreamy, Andres style grooves on "Track 2". On the B-side, he flits between rubbery, bass-heavy, sample-heavy grooves and immaculate, electric piano-fired breakdowns on standout "Track 3", before reaching for the life-affirming synth strings on the almost overwhelmingly rush-inducing brilliance of "Track 4". Loure is clearly a star in the making so don't sleep on this one.

In The Evenings (4:42)
Keep It Real (6:53)
Step In (5:43)
Vue (5:59)
In The Evenings (Hidden Spheres remix) (5:43)
Review: Bordeaux based Noire et Blanche follow up a great first release by fellow countryman Folamour with the debut of Australian producer Loure, who serves up four slices of sexy and jazzed up deep house for the late night. Opening track "In The Evenings" is reminiscent of Ludovic Navarre's works, while "Keep It Real" brings in the smooth four to the floor style assisted by some epic sax playing and glistening synths which calls to mind the classic sounds of San Francisco's Naked Music. On the flip, Hidden Sphere's great remix of "In The Evenings" injects the track with a nice broken beat style that really compliments the jazz elements in a way that would make even Atjazz stand up and notice!
