Review: Post Malone, known to his ardent fan base as 'Postie', actually nods to his real name Austin Post with the title of his latest record. It's an honest one from the much-loved American rapper who has had his fair share of adversities to overcome on his way to the top and whilst being there the last few years. Early singles 'Mourning' and 'Chemical' have been big with fans and newcomers alike and his fifth album overall, which is also one of 2023's most anticipated, builds on and intensifies the sound of his last outing, Twelve Carat Toothache, from 2022. He plays guitar on every single track and says it made the record the most challenging yet rewarding of his career to work on.

Review: Twelve Carat Toothache is the fourth studio album from multifaceted rap icon Post Malone. Aiming for a sound that both broadens his horizons and gives his fans a little uplift, Malone's contribution to the global tidal wave of pandemic-rooted LPs features Roddy Ricch, Doja Cat, Fleet Foxes, the Kid Laroi and the Weeknd. Digging into his confessional approach and teasing the possibilities of a pop-minded rap record on lead singles 'One Right Now', 'Cooped Up' and 'I Like You (A Happier Song)', Post Malone continues to evolve as an artist, leaving unique and compelling albums such as this one in his wake.

Review: This third album from Post Malone was his second to top the Billboard 200 Chart. Once again it was defined by his melancholic style but was also filled with plenty of charm thanks to his versatile voice. His choruses once again shine through whether he's snarling and angry or more vulnerable and falsetto. Fans call it his best yet and the blend of genres he explores here certainly make that a fair shout. Add in the fact that Ozzy, La flame and SZA all feature and he might well have outdone himself.
