Review: Millionhands founder Tee Mango (real name Tom Mangan) has developed a lot as a producer since he first appeared on Aus Music in 2017. That much is evident on his latest four-track excursion for Will Saul's imprint, which sees Mangan deliver a quartet of fuzzy, nostalgia-inducing workouts guaranteed to make you move. He sets his stall out with 'Last Dance', a chunk of colourful, piano-laden positivity built around crackly drums and rush-inducing riffs, before delivering instrumental and vocal takes on the mid-tempo, lo-fi, deep house delight that is the yearning 'Heartbeat'. To round things off, the former T-shirt designer opts for a baggier, sunnier and more huggable sound on delicious closing cut 'Can We Find'. Saucer-eyed goodness all told.

Review: Tom Mangan has enjoyed such success as a producer of late that he's stepped back from the hugely successful Millionhands t-shirt studio he founded a few years back. Time will tell whether it was a wise choice, but there's no denying that he's in a rich vein of form right now. He begins his latest Aus Music excursion by cannily combining elements of what sounds like a JJ Cale style blues number with metronomic, snare-heavy house drums and a wonderfully squelchy synth bassline ("Time Ain't Nothing"), before exploring a jazzier, broken beat influenced sound on the swinging sweetness of "My Mind". Arguably best of all though is epic B-side "Music Got Me High", where glassy-eyed piano stabs, sparkling synthesizer riffs and soulful vocal samples ride a classic house groove.

Review: Millionhands head honcho Tom Mangan is back as Tee Mango on Aus Music - this would be his third appearance on the label in less than a year - which speaks volumes really. EP#2 features the lo-slung sexiness of "Make It Last Forever" featuring that awesome Inner Life sample throughout. On the flip, we have the funky deep-disco bounce of "Wazoo" that's perfect mood lighting for the early evening, while something a bit more energetic and harder hitting exists in the form of "Prototypical". A soulful and emotive house journey featuring gritty rhythms, a tough bouncy bassline and trippy stabs that's perfect to take crowd into the later hours - we absolutely loved this one!

Review: Here is the alter ego of Millionhands big cheese Tom Mangan. As Tee Mango he has had releases with Will Saul (and released on his Aus Music imprint earlier this year) and he's next up on Mad Mats & Tooli's Local Talk imprint. There's some splendid expressions in nu-jazz deepness on offer on the Dadhouse EP. Beginning with the emotive and chill groove of "Don't Worry Everything's Going To Be Alright" with some mad syncopated rhythms: hear the drummer get wicked! "Trying Times" is smooth and jazzy deep house reminiscent of classic Nick Holder with its smoky Rhodes. dusty rhythms and sexy soul vocals. On the flip, the reduced tribal-dub-DJ tool "The Rhythm" (Drums 3) was particularly impressive and reminded us of Kerri Chandler's more esoteric moments. Finally "Your Love" ends this fine EP on a bittersweet note on this Arthur Russell style jam.

Review: The mysterious Tee Mango has been unloading deep and ethereal house magic on us since 2012, and the artist has chosen to stick close to his home, the below-radar Millionhands. His recent output has come through the label's Black chapter, and we're in for the third instalment of the Tribute series. "Talk 2 Her" is funky, soulful, and laid-back, but its driving house swing will still get plenty of movement on the floor, whereas 'Drumspeak" is a gorgeous sample-laden number with one hell of a trumpet, and crackly percussion.. just the way we like it!
