The Racubah Sound System is a collective of music enthusiasts exploring dance sounds from around the globe. Musicians, producers, promoters, travellers, diggers and DJs we are all part of a musical family dedicated to finding, creating and sharing the fruits of the worlds' musical heritage.

We have been throwing parties since 1999, with music exploring Afro, Funk, Latin, and Balkan styles to name just a few and have hosted a myriad of DJs and live bands including global acts such as Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, Ska Cubano and Jungle Fire. We have spun at parties and festivals thought the UK and Europe, including Secret Garden Party, Glastonbury and Womad.

We have also been fortunate to be involved in the conception and growth of the Amazing Rift valley festival in Kenya, located on the shores of Lake Naivasha and one of the world's most beautiful festival locations, as well as the Kaya festival in an arguably as beautiful location of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales.

Racubah would not be this collective without the band Drymbago. A 10 plus group of musicians dedicated to bringing the sounds of the vintage Tropical dance floor to life and our partners at countless musical forays.

Racubah is a musical expression of dedicated people who enjoy sharing the beauty of global sounds. We are inclusive, not exclusive, so come and join us!
