Klar & PF - "Escape"
Deep Sound Express - "Sunday Morning" (with Too Techs)
Deep Sound Express - "After Rain" (feat Raha)
Klar & PF - "Endless"
Review: An endless Sunday sounds good... In practice. But there's always that nagging feeling of work the following morning. To us this is an endless Saturday spent lazing by a pool or chilling at a BBQ with good friends. Cool, calming, melodic bliss - each and every track. Highlights include the psychedelic synth spasms on "Sunday Morning", the chubby deep house beat and Raha's commanding vocals on "After Rain", the worm-like cosmic bass and whimsical guitars on "Endless" and the cool synth-bass double-ups on "Escape". Beautiful.

El Halcon Rising
Eastern Promise
La Luz
Review: Super-limited and super cosmic, the Keyboard Masher family reunite for three more galaxy galvantations. "El Halcon Rising" creeps and weeps with Moogy moans, spiralling pads and emphatic choral beef. "Eastern Promise" rolls with more of a wistful swing thanks to snaky hi-hats and a cool filtered guitar loop. Dreamy and deep, drop it at the right time and there won't be a dry eye in sight. Finally we hit "La Luz", all shimmering guitars and soft, subtle kickdrum back bone, it's an instant Balearic gem. Beautiful.

One Time (original mix)
One Time (Craig Bratley remix)
One Time (Andrew Clarke remix)
Review: Just in case their album Pulsar wasn't quite enough to tickle your Balearic underbelly this summer, Italian duo Leo Ceccanti and Gianluca Salvadori have stepped up to the Above Machine controls for a sedate slab of glistening guitar-strummery. Wonderfully woozy and calming, it's the duo at their most laidback and confident. Remix-wise Bird Scarer-endorsed Craig Bratley gets all slinky and acidic while Andrew Clarke applies the dreamy space guitars. One time? Three times, more like... Each one of these versions rocks in their own unique way.

Evil Eye ( (Todd Terje extended mix)
Stand On The Horizon (Todd Terje extended mix)
Review: A collaboration between Franz Ferdinand and Todd Terje? Not the most obvious of partnerships, but it certainly works. Franz Ferdinand's post-punk tendencies get extended and polished with Nordic cosmic charm and the result are two timeless, dubbed out exercises in deep funk. "Evil Eye" looks up to the sky with euphoric stomps and wistful synth licks while "Stand On The Horizon" cuts loose with more of an angular swagger. A really interesting departure for Franz Ferdinand, Todd Terje and Domino.

Keep It Funkin (Vocoder version)
Keep It Funkin (instrumental version)
Review: Conjuring up the spirit of Mr Troutman himself, XL Middleton pays homage to the original source with this special vinyl-only jam. P-funk bass, lazy beats, cool synth squiggles and a subtle vocoder action, this is an authentic dedication to the sound that carved the west coast hip-hop sound. Complete with an instrumental, beats really don't come much funkier.

Give It Up For Love (A Heavy Disco Joint)
Star Of The Guetto (A Heavy Disco Joint)
Review: Two slabs of heavy discotheque material from the Modern Artifacts crew, taking in specially tweaked disco dad favourites from Average White Band and Ben E. King double header. Lining the A Side is the cover version of Ned Donehy's "Get It Up For Love" which has end of night shoulder rubber written all over it. Turn the table and it's the timeless "Star Of The Ghetto" that gets the Heavy Disco treatment, offering some hands in the air contrast to the widely lauded deeper edit of the same track from Stupid Human.

Acid Water (original mix)
Acid Water (Richard Bradford Beach mix)
Acid Water (Enzo Elia Balearic Gabba mix)
Review: Those diggers of a certain vintage will no doubt remember the wonderfully titled Dr Beat From San Sebastien for his enduringly excellent modern day Balearic gem Mediterraneo; originally released back in 2002, it's been subsequently revived on numerous occasions by Eskimo, most recently in remixed-by-DJ-Harvey white label form. The Spanish producer known as Jaime Sagastibeltza Pejenaute resurfaces in fine fashion with some new material for DJ Kaos's reliable dancefloor imprint Jolly Jams. As a track "Acid Water" does what you'd expect from such a title, as the good Doctor lays down wave after wave of lysergic modulations over a tumbling house groove. DO check the flip side remix from Balearic Gabba's Enzo Elia too!

The Waiting Game
Apostles Of The Sun
The Waiting Game (Craig Bratley remix)
The Waiting Game (Soft Rocks Do You Wanna Dance remix)
Review: Deep space vibes abound as Kalidasa return to Magic Feet with two beautiful cosmic disco compositions. "The Waiting Game" leans heavily on lavish guitar leads, yearning for outer planetary party mischief. "Apostles Of The Sun" eschews the organic elements in favour of a more Balearic, electro boogie flavour. Remix-wise the seemingly unavoidable Craig Bratley strips down "The Waiting Game" adding a moodier, slo-mo bite while Soft Rocks add some nifty beat work by way of cool double kick drums. Don't play the waiting game for this one... Jump on it now.

Gikk Av Pa Holmlia
Nar Bunnen Er Nadd
Review: Oyvind Morken might not be that well known outside of his hometown of Oslo, but this debut release for Full Pupp is testament to the Norwegian city's ever bustling scene. Described by the label as 'Oslo's ultimate DJ,' Morken's also been running the under rated Lunarflicks label alongside DJ Strangefruit of Mungolian Jetset fame and Fjordfunk's Kango since 2008, issuing material from Diskjokke, Hardway Bros and Skatebard. Such a sense of curation demonstrates Morken knows his onions and it's clearly rubbed off on his production style. The 3 cuts here fit snugly into the Full Pupp canon, betraying a cheeky mastery of analogue hardware that veers through New Beat, classic house and flatulent disco.

Matt Meler - "Rhythm Of A Miracle" (feat Kathy Diamond)
Roberto Calzetta & Twin Soul - "Harmonic Flower"
EBO - "Still Running"
Jay West - "So Right"
Review: Finally! Dikso get elbow deep into 2013 with their first "Super Sound Single" of the year. It's been well worth the wait as each of these cuts showcases where both disco and house are at right now. The big ticket number is the evangelistic piano slammer "Harmonic Flower". Elsewhere we get all sexy and smooth with Jay West as he slaps our ears down with a filtered groove and tightly edited vocal sample, we get seduced by Kathy Diamond and Matt Meler with an authentic slice of 80s pop pie and EBO induce the sweetest dreams with their one-note synth strikes and emphatic proto-house vocals. Genuinely super.

The Essence - "92 Bluh"
Jazz Neversleeps - "Linh"
Seiren - "Tin Man Drowning"
Review: Belgium's coolest culture hounds On Point have curated quite the showcase with their international collective. Ranging from lush languishing outer planetary jazz ("Linh") to pristine-produced 80s electro boogie ("Love Marathong") to oceanic space soul ("Tin Man Drowning") no cosmic stone is left unturned. On Point continue to live up to their name in every way.
