Behringer DEQ2496 Ultracurve Pro Equalizer
Cat: 624258 Rel: 31 Aug 16

Ultra-high precision 24-Bit/96 kHz equalizer, analyzer, feedback destroyer & mastering processor
Notes: The DEQ2496 is a high-precision digital 24-bit/ 96 kHz EQ/RTA mastering processor, ideal for sophisticated live sound trouble-shooting or audiophile mastering. Whether you're putting the finishing touches on recorded material or creating an optimal live sound for a multi-way PA, the DEQ2496 is built to provide meticulous control.

Equalization. Dynamics. Feedback Correction:

You can have it all with the DEQ2496. How about automatic FFT analysis with Auto EQ? We added that too. The DEQ2496 is a whole rack of ultra-flexible equalization options, dynamics and time-correction solutions, all designed to optimize your rig's sound quality like no other single piece of processing gear. Consider the DEQ2496 your audio engineer's Swiss Army Knife - here are a just few examples: Dual 31-band Graphic Equalizers (stereo linkable) Dual 31-band Virtual Paragraphic Equalizers (stereo linkable) Dual 10-band Parametric EQ's per stereo side Dynamically-activated EQ Feedback Destroyer with Learning Mode Stereo Imager Compressor/Expander Limiter Digital Delay RTA/SPL/FFT Analyzer with Auto EQ function.

Dual 31-band Graphic Equalizers, 31-band Virtual Para-graphic Equalizers and 10-band Parametric:

Naturally, the DEQ2496 has a phase-neutral digital graphic EQ. But in addition, we've added a function that allows you to change the frequency bandwidths from 1/3, to as tight as 59/3. Or, if you prefer the old-school approach to variable bandwidth, we've included 10-bands of parametric filters that can be incrementally fine-tuned all the way down to 1/60 of an octave.

Dynamically-Activated EQ:

Dynamic EQ (DEQ) automatically raises or lowers a defined frequency range based on volume level. It's literally a combination of an equalizer (with frequency centre and bandwidth controls) and a dynamics processor (with Attack, Release, Threshold and Ratio parameters). DEQ opens up a world of both creative mastering and PA problem solving possibilities. We've given you total control with multiple filter types including bandpass mode. And of course you can store DEQ settings for recall at any time manually or via MIDI.

Feedback Destroyer with Learning Mode:

With the digital capabilities we've just listed, it's easy to see why we were able to include a highly-effective Feedback Destroyer (FBQ) feature - it's essentially a dynamically-activated parametric EQ that "watches" the whole frequency spectrum in 1/60-octave bands and then instantly identifies and notches out feedback. FBQ can be run in AUTO mode, or in Single mode. We've also included a Learn mode that generates short audio pulses, raises their gain until feedback occurs, and then locks onto feedback-prone frequencies. For more than 20 years, we have made some of the world's most acclaimed FBQ Feedback Elimination processors. Now you get this revolutionary FBQ Feedback Detection System in every DEQ2496, so your sound system is always completely free from feedback. Utilizing an ultra-fast detection system, this ingenious circuitry helps you recognize and tame feedback frequencies immediately. LEDs on the associated EQ frequency-band fader illuminates, showing you at a glance which fader to lower to overcome the feedback - it doesn't get any easier than this!

Behringer FBQ1502 Pro Ultragraph Audiophile 15 Band Stereo Graphic Equalizer
Cat: 493506 Rel: 14 Jun 13

Stereo graphic equalizer with feedback detection system
Notes: Professional audio engineers have known for decades that a good EQ makes all the difference in how a performance is perceived. Although multi-band graphic equalizers have been around for a long time, they have changed very little... until now! BEHRINGER ULTRAGRAPH PRO Series equalizers take a giant leap forward technologically, providing robust feature sets and our proprietary FBQ Feedback Detection Systemiat a price that makes them a must-have for anyone who records or operates a live sound system.

The low frequency sound range requires special attention. That's why the FBQ1502 features a low cut filter, in addition to the frequency faders, to help remove unwanted low frequencies such as floor rumble, room resonance, electrical hum, etc. This filter is preset on the FBQ1502 to remove all content below 25Hz, which can really eat into your power amp's headroom.

The FBQ feedback detection system is one of the most outstanding features of our graphic equalizers. This ingenious circuitry helps you recognize and eliminate feedback frequencies immediately. When feedback is sensed in a specific frequency range, the LED on the associated fader lights up, so you know at a glance which fader to lower to eliminate the feedback. Behringer'S proprietary FBQ feedback detection system makes it easy for even the novice operator to defeat live sound's natural enemy - feedback!

There are two reasons to buy a stereo EQ - to run your front of house system in stereo, or to use one side for mono front of house while the other side EQs your monitors, which is usually where feedback problems start.

Behringer FBQ6200HD Ultragraph Pro 31 Band Stereo Graphic Equaliser
Cat: 608872 Rel: 03 May 16

High-definition 31-band stereo graphic equalizer with FBQ feedback detection system
Notes: Ultragraph pro FBQ6200HD:
Professional audio engineers have known for decades that a good EQ makes all the difference in how a performance is perceived. Although multi-band graphic equalizers have been around for a long time, they have changed very little... until now! The ULTRAGRAPH PRO FBQ6200HD takes the graphic equalizer into the realm of high-definition audio, providing robust features and our proprietary FBQ Feedback Detection System - at a price that makes them a must-have for anyone who records or operates a live sound system.

How Does Equalization Work?
Imagine the audio frequency range as a very wide highway with lots of "lanes". Each of these lanes represents a specific frequency band.
The lanes on the left side contain the really low frequency content, mainly bass, bass vocals, and the kick and tom drums
The middle lanes make up the fundamental zone of most musical instruments and the male and female vocals
The right-hand lanes have all the high-frequency stuff, such as snare drums, cymbals, higher pitched percussion instruments and the content that adds sizzle to the mix

FBQ - Totally Feedback-Free
For more than 20 years, BEHRINGER has designed and manufactured some of the most successful FBQ Feedback Elimination processors. Now you can own and enjoy the benefits of this technology, as we have integrated the revolutionary FBQ Feedback Detection System into this product, so your sound system is completely feedback-free, allowing you to focus on your performance. Utilizing an ultra-fast feedback detection system, this ingenious circuitry helps you recognize and tame feedback frequencies immediately. When feedback is sensed in a specific frequency range, the LED on the associated EQ fader illuminates, showing you at a glance which fader to lower to overcome the feedback. That simple!

Ultra-Low Noise Operation
The high-definition FBQ6200HD provides superb, ultra-low noise performance thanks to top-notch German engineering, and the use of highest-quality components. Industry-leading 4580 dual operational amplifiers are employed throughout for the utmost signal integrity across the entire audio spectrum. With 31-bands of smooth and precise equalization per channel, the stereo FBQ6200HD adds the finishing professional touch to your recordings and live shows.

Special Tools for Low and High Frequencies
The low-frequency sound range requires special attention. That's why the FBQ6200HD features ultra-precise, variable High- and Low-Cut filters on each channel, with a sweepable frequency that helps remove non-essential bass content, such as floor rumble, room resonance and electrical hum, etc., which really uses up your power amp's headroom. This added high-precision control gives the FBQ6200HD the power to accurately fine-tune your system's overall sound, creating crystal clear and dynamic output - with incredibly tight and punchy bottom-end!

Built in Crossover
Speaking of special low-frequency tools, the FBQ6200HD also has a dedicated subwoofer output with an adjustable (30 - 200 Hz) cut-off frequency. Balanced XLR Outs are provided so you can connect to power amps or directly to your active subwoofers, without any additional hardware. Just another example of how BEHRINGER saves you money.

Stereo or Double-Duty?
The FBQ6200HD is designed to improve your sound from every angle: it's a great stereo Front Of House (FOH) equalizer; or, you could use one side for mono FOH, while the other side EQs your monitors - which is where you need the maximum feedback control.

FBQ6200HD - Much More Than Just a Great EQ
Sure it's an incredible high-definition graphic equalizer, but the FBQ6200HD has even more features, such as switchable limiters on each channel with separate Threshold controls, long-throw 45 mm frequency faders for added precision, and a built-in Pink Noise generator that enables the FBQ6200HD to function as a highly-accurate audio spectrum analyser.

Superb Audio, Sound Value
When you want to bring out the very best from your sound system or your performance, in the studio or at your next live gig - put your trust in the ULTRAGRAPH PRO FBQ6200HD. We dare you to compare it to the competition. Once you do, you'll choose BEHRINGER again and again for both audio quality and value.

Behringer FBQ800 MiniFBQ Ultra Compact 9 Band Graphic Equalizer
Cat: 493507 Rel: 14 Jun 13

9 band graphic EQ with feedback detection system
Notes: When a specific frequency, or range of frequencies, reaches too high a level, feedback occurs - that all too familiar squeal or howl you get when the mic is too close to the speaker. Basically, feedback happens when there is so much of a particular frequency that it is picked up by the mic and run through the system again. That's why feedback typically gets louder and louder the longer it's allowed to occur. Needless to say, this kind of feedback is very undesirable.

This is where the FBQ800's feedback detection system really works its magic. In this ingenious circuitry, LEDs on the individual faders light up when that frequency band is approaching the danger zone. All you need to do is lower the illuminated slider until the LED blinks out - and there you have it, feedback problem solved!

With its 9 frequency bands, you easily fine tune your sound and instantly eliminate feedback. And each fader can be used to boost or cut the frequency range it controls by as much as 12dB (and that's a lot!).

Special attention is paid to the low frequency zone. In addition to low frequency faders, the FBQ800 features a Low Cut filter for removing unwanted low frequencies such as floor rumble, room resonance, electrical hum, etc. This is especially handy if your system is being used for speech rather than music.

Raising and lowering specific frequency bands can improve the frequency response of any room's acoustics. For instance, if the room you're in is "bass heavy", lowering the 63Hz and 125Hz faders can help eliminate an overall "boomy" or "muddy" sound. Likewise, gently boosting the 8KHz and 16KHz sliders can add sparkle to a somewhat "dark" or "dull" mix. Are the vocals getting lost in the mix? Raising the level of the 1KHz slider can help bring them out.

Speaking of headroom, FBQ800's 6 digit LED I/O meters and level control are provided for precise level maintenance. Long term reliability is ensured, thanks to high quality illuminated faders and switches, and our ultra low noise audio operational amplifiers provide outstanding sonic performance. In addition, all Mini Series components can be stacked to create an ultra compact signal processing solution.
