Behringer B1200D Pro Eurolive Active 12" Subwoofer
Cat: 487663 Rel: 22 Aug 13

Active 500W 12" PA subwoofer with built in stereo crossover
Notes: The Eurolive B1200D packs everything there is to love about these powerful systems into a more compact, easy to transport enclosure, making them ideal for smaller venues. Armed with a 500W Class D amplifier and a host of truly professional features, these little brutes crank out tons of tight, low end punch with the definition and clarity typically reserved for much larger systems.

Put simply, these cool running systems provide an impressive power to weight ratio and our no compromise design means you get amazingly deep, chest pounding bass that will keep the party going all night long.

Instead of operating relatively continuously like Class AB circuits, Class D amps switch on and off thousands of times per second, delivering power only when needed. The amplifier is either fully on or fully off, which significantly reduces power losses from the output devices given off as heat. Less heat means our Class D amps don't need massive heat sinks, and that means we can make them lighter. Plus B1200D's amplifier provides all the dynamic punch and fidelity you'd expect from a much larger, more expensive subwoofer.

The transducers (woofers and tweeters) are the only part of a sound system you actually hear, Behringer never cut corners, and never just grab whatever happens to be on the shelf. They custom design their own so they are the perfect match for both the amplifier and the application. They wind their own voice coils, process the paper pulp into cones and even machine their own backplates. This enables Behringer to control the quality, and frankly, make better components. The 12" long excursion, low frequency transducer was designed specifically for use in the Eurolive B1200D.

The B1200D features balanced XLR inputs and outputs, as well as balanced XLR Thru jacks for connecting additional enclosures. A boost frequency knob lets you boost any frequency between 45Hz and 90Hz. Then just flick the boost switch to give your selected frequency a +10 dB boost. Behringer have also provided a high cut dial that controls the upper corner frequency for the internal amplifier without affecting thru A/B signals. A level knob controls the input gain, and the phase switch reverses the output phase to compensate for frequency cancellation between the subwoofer and satellite speakers. LEDs show operational status at a glance including power, signal present and input overloads.

Behringer NEKKST K10S Studio Subwoofer
Cat: 584367 Rel: 26 Aug 16

Audiophile 10" Studio Subwoofer With High Excursion Woofer
Notes: The 300-Watt NEKKST K10S Studio Subwoofer's unparalleled, world-class performance is the result of a major collaboration between BEHRINGER audio engineers and loudspeaker master-designer/founder of KRK - Keith R Klawitter.

This incredible audiophile-grade subwoofer is ideal for all critical listening environments thanks to the custom-engineered bridge-mode amplifier that drives the 10" glass-fibre woofer for rich, deep and tight bass. K10'S front-f ring port was designed for the ultimate in low-frequency extension - without the typical boundary coupling and port turbulence found in competing systems.

The goal of a great studio monitor is to present an accurate representation of your mix, so you can tell how well it will translate to the diverse listening environments and systems of today, such as car stereos, club sound systems, radio, portable digital music players and others. The remarkably-flat bass response of the NEKKST K10S allows you to work with the complete confidence that your mixes will "play" accurately on these systems and to your audience at large.

Renowned acoustic icon and founder of KRK, Keith Klawitter, designed the ultra-linear, reference-class NEKKST Series studio monitors and subwoofer. Featuring Keith's Advanced Waveguide Technology for the ultimate acoustic dispersion, the NEKKST Series generates an extremely large "sweet zone", for the ultimate in professional-grade studio monitoring. Adding the amazing K10S subwoofer to your monitor system allows you to experience exactly how your mix's bass content plays in vivid detail - thanks to its powerful 300-Watt bridge-mode amplifier, 10" glass-fiber woofer and synergistic design. The NEKKST K10S not only satisfies seasoned engineers and producers, but makes audiophile-level sound accessible to both home and professional recording studio applications. Keith Klawitter wrote the book when it comes to modern studio monitors, and to quote the monitor-master, "This is my best work yet!"

The NEKKST K10S 10" Studio Subwoofer owes its remarkable bass response to Keith Klawitter's front-firing port and scientifically-curved front baffle design, which provides superb low-frequency extension and amazingly-clean sonic performance. A considerable investment of Keith's time and research went into perfecting the interplay between the K10S' woofer and port to maximize efficiency - and minimize the effects of port compression. You'll hear your mix's low end in a more accurate way, ensuring your music always sounds its best in every listening environment.

The K10S' long-throw 10" woofer is made with deformation-resistant, glass-fiber cone and built into a high-density composite enclosure that virtually eliminates low-frequency distortion and provides ultra-low diffraction. If anyone on the planet knows studio monitors, it's Keith Klawitter. He has made it his life's mission to create systems that add tremendous value to world-class artists and engineers, who depend on the ultimate in mix accuracy. Keith himself refers to the NEKKST Studio Monitor Series as, "my best work!"

Gemini SR10SUB Active Subwoofer
Cat: 448321 Rel: 11 May 12

10" active subwoofer
Notes: When it comes to monitors and subs in a mixing environment, accuracy is crucial. Let's be honest, a decent setup can sound great in your project studio, but truly accurate monitors and subs will ensure your mix sounds great everywhere else, whether you're listening in your car, on your portable media player or on your home stereo. That's why the cost-effective SR series from Gemini was designed to offer genuinely precise audio that truly reflects the state of your mix.

The Gemini SR-10SUB boasts a 10" woven glass aramid composite woofer for tight, accurate low-end response. To complement this custom-designed low frequency driver, the elegant, magnetically shielded enclosure incorporates a front-firing port, which helps deliver clean, accurate bass. While rear-firing ports can throw low-end frequencies into walls and corners, creating an imprecise image, front-firing ports ensure clear bass response for a mix without coloration, even at high SPLs.

To reduce distortion, the monitor features a 175W high efficiency class D amplifier. And because mixing environments vary from one room to another, a large professional studio, a mid-size project studio, a small bedroom, a spacious basement, the SR-10SUB provides controls for volume and crossover frequency. The crossover frequency can be adjusted from 40Hz to 180Hz, allowing you to designate which frequencies are sent to your sub and which are sent to your main satellite speakers. This ability to adjust your calibrations to fit your needs and your setting is both easy and extremely useful.

For flexible connectivity, the SR-10SUB provides XLR and TRS connectors, along with output jacks for connecting the sub to your full-range speakers. A frequency response between 35Hz and 200Hz also guarantees accurate, well-balanced audio with true sonic clarity. And when it comes to looks, this sleek, black sub with its red woven woofer offers a stylish complement to your mixing space.

Ideal for a variety of mixing rooms, Gemini's SR series offers value, power and precision for professional studios, home recording setups and everything in between, giving you the power to create the best mix possible.

Presonus Temblor T8 Active Studio Subwoofer
Cat: 558507 Rel: 28 Jan 15

8" subwoofer with variety of inputs and outputs for ultimate compatibility
Notes: To hear what's really going on at the bottom of your mixes, you need a subwoofer that speaks the truth. The Temblor T8 lets you take charge of the low-frequency foundation of your mix with a combination of quality components and design, plenty of inputs and outputs, and extensive user controls not normally available in this price range.

An ideal companion to Eris and Sceptre active reference monitors and Ceres BT-series active speakers, Temblor-series subwoofers complement full-range monitors without overshadowing them, extending the reach of your full-range system's low end with a musical and natural approach.
Powerful and musical, Temblor features high-quality components and design that enable it to deliver fast and accurate transient response, extending low frequencies without a hint of "tubbiness" or overshoot.
Suitable for personal studios, gaming, audiophiles, and home theaters, the T8 uses a downward-firing, 8" glass-composite driver with high-density rubber surround and a round, rear-firing bass-reflex acoustic port. Its 200W Class AB amplifier (100W RMS) delivers up to 104 dB SPL, with a frequency response of 30 Hz to 300 Hz.
When you choose the T8, you'll have a subwoofer that delivers accurate, smooth tight low end and outperforms subs costing far more. With Temblor, you hear what the foundation of your mix really sounds like so you can produce your best mix from top to bottom.

The T8 provides more user controls than any other subwoofer in it's class, enabling seamless integration into your listening environment.

The Temblor's extensive user controls include input gain (-30 dB to +6 dB, continuously variable) and a continuously variable lowpass filter (50 Hz to 130 Hz) that let you create a seamless crossover transition between your full-range studio monitors and subwoofer for a more accurate listening environment.
A switchable highpass filter removes frequency content below 80 Hz from the full-range signal sent from the Temblor's outputs to the main monitors, avoiding destructive cancellation and reinforcement in the subwoofer's upper range.
The result is a subwoofer that can be adjusted to perfectly complement not only our Sceptre CoActual, Eris, and Ceres BT active studio monitors but virtually any studio monitor.
Of course, we didn't forget the "small things" that can make a big difference: The T8 has a polarity invert feature.

No other subwoofer anywhere close to the Temblor's price range offers a comparable selection of inputs and outputs.

The T8 provides two sets of inputs: left and right, balanced 1/4" TRS and unbalanced RCA main inputs. This enables it to pair well with PreSonus' Ceres BT-series active speakers and home-stereo speakers, as well as personal-studio systems.
Similarly, the T8 offers left and right balanced 1/4" TRS and unbalanced RCA pass-through outputs for connecting satellite speakers.
So if you want a system with XLR connections or want to use two subwoofers, go with the T10. If you are using your subwoofer with a home stereo or home theater system or a smaller studio system that does not require XLRs or two subwoofers, consider the T8.
