Bridge module
Notes: A pair of ADDAC213As acts as a simple one-cable bridge between different cases. By itself the ADDAC213As can send/receive 8 CV or audio signals between your cases, but can be expanded to bridge two cases for up to 24 signals at the same time.

Use a pair of ADDAC213As to send & receive 8 CV or audio signals between distant points in your case, between two separate cases, or between your case and a friend's case. Less clatter, less spaghetti, faster connection! There's nothing better than being able to connect that controller skiff with just one cable to your main system. At a gig, in the studio, when jamming with a friend, give yourself a gift by grabbing a pair of ADDAC213As.The modules can be installed in normal position or a 180 degree position to fit any need and any case design.

Each ADDAC213A module can be connected through a ribbon cable connection on its backside with up to two ADDAC213Bs. Each ADDAC213B module added expands the channels options of the ADDAC213A by adding 8 more channels. With two 2 ADDAC213Bs connected to each ADDAC213A module, you'll have a total of 24 channels going between your cases with a simple one-cable bridge. Between the ADDAC213A pair and the ADDAC213B, your cases never looked so elegantly connected together!

The ADDAC213As are always sold as a pair of 2 modules and an included ribbon cable.

Each module can be installed in normal position or at 180 degrees.

VC rotator module
Notes: This is the VC Rotator, a stepped routing module for any type of signal (audio, cv, gate, trigger...)

Similar to a VC switcher but in this case there's the same number of inputs than outputs so, instead of 4 to 1 or 1 to 4, this module is always 4 to 4 but it can be patched for 2 to 2 and 3 to 3 step actions.

All four inputs get routed to the four outputs depending on the CV and Clock controls and are divided into 4 routing steps:
1. routes all inputs to the same number output: 1:1, 2:2, 3:3, 4:4
2. routes all inputs to an offset of 1: 2:1, 3:2, 4:3, 1:4
3. routes all inputs to an offset of 2: 3:1, 4:2, 1:3, 2:4
4. routes all inputs to an offset of 3: 4:1, 1:2, 2:3, 3:4

Direction determines if the clock input goes forward or backwards.
Going forward it can be set to 2-3 or 4 steps using the Rotate knob offset, going backwards always sync to 4 steps even if offseted by the Rotate knob.
For 2 & 3 step action input 1 is normalled to input 3 and input 2 is normalled to input 4.

Reset resets the internal clock to the first step.

Pendulum, external sequencing or any complex CV actions can be achieved using the CV input and dedicated attenuverter.

4 leds monitor which input is routed to output 1.

Midi Sync:

CV to MIDI:

Notes: In 2009 John Berndt coined and defined the term Relabi in his essay "Relabi": Patterns of Self-Erasing Pulse, these are his own words: "Relabi, Def.: The experience of a palpably coordinated plurality of events that appears to be cyclical but simultaneously suspends identification of a uniform pattern, preventing a resolved sense of pulse. Relabi therefore seems equally pulsed and unpulsed at the same time. It is an experiential gestalt, a quality of experience, greater than the sum of its parts (it forms a sustained unity in experience, albeit of a new kind)."

He also makes the question: "Why would anyone want this Relabi experience? I maintain that much of what is exciting in musical forms involves an interplay between the setting up and denying of pulse expectations."

Inspired by this idea, ADDAC System developed this module that is both a gate/trigger and cv generator that can be freely used to trigger events or act as a complex modulation source. Four Sine LFOs are internally generated, each has controls for gain, frequency and mute(off). These 4 LFOs are then mixed together to generate what Berndt named the "Relabi Wave" this "wave" becomes a complex bipolar CV source. This i5v bipolar "wave" can be monitored on the 2 dedicated leds and is also available at its own Output.

Notes: Newtonian physics on a modular synth! The ADDAC503 Marble Physics is a CV generator based on the mechanics behavior of a marble on a tray.

Through this realtime physics simulator you'll be able to control several parameters that will affect the behavior of a model of a spherical object against a plane. You can tilt the plane or bump the marble with a certain strength, which will cause it to roll and bounce on elastic walls.

The model will output the object's XY position or velocity and you can control other physical parameters, like the walls' elasticity or the strength of a bump. When the marble hits walls the bounce output triggers and you can additionally lock the X axis for a one dimension simulation. Finally you can also set the overall speed of the simulation.

By controlling all of these properties you be able simulate several scenarios where the marble falls, gets gently pulled by gravity, orbits indefinitely or bounces on walls like a pinball. Truly engaging physics simulations!

Gate Outputs Behaviour:

At every clock input, based on the four knobs probability settings, the module will select one active gate out, only one of the five gates will be active at all times. All Gate outputs can also behave as a Trigger instead, Trigger size can also be adjusted.

The knobs set the probabilities of each gate to be chosen, here's an example of how this operates

With all first four knobs at 12 o'clock the first Gate has 50% of being the chosen one, the remaining 50% of the times will be passed through the next knobs. So Gate 2 at 12 o'clock has 50% of the remaining 50% left by setting one, which leaves it with 25% chance of being the chosen one, the remaining 25% will be passed through Knob 3 which will have 12.5% chance of being the chosen one, the remaining 12.5% will be sent to Setting 4 which will have a probability of 6.25%. The remaining percentage left by the 4 Settings will always be the probability of Gate 5, in this case the remaining 6.25%.

Here's a couple more examples.

All knobs at 12 0'clock
Setting 1 = 50% chance, 50% left for remaining settings.
Setting 2 = 25% chance, 25% left for remaining settings.
Setting 3 = 12.5% chance, 12.5% left for remaining setting.
Setting 4 = 6.25% chance, 6.25% left for Gate 5.

All knobs at 9 0'clock (aproximate values)
Setting 1 = 20% chance, 80% left for remaining settings.
Setting 2 = 16% chance, 64% left for remaining settings.
Setting 3 = 12.8% chance, 51.2% left for remaining setting.
Setting 4 = 10.24% chance, 40.96% left for Gate 5.

Tuning and CV outputs:

While in the Tuning page you can use all knobs to set the 5 pitches
When in tuning page knobs should be rotated one at a time!
While rotating the knobs the CV out 4 will be used as a monitor, the other 3 CV outs will be behaving normally.
The module detects which pot is being rotated and outputs the relative pitch CV on CV out 4 for all knobs.
While on this page the tuning will be quantized or not relative to the panel Quantize on/off switch. Even if this process is done in quantized mode the module always store the free value in order to allow quantisation to be turned off later.
Once you're happy with the tuning you can exit the page, new values are stores to memory while exiting the page.
When tuning the module detects both the note selected and the relative octave.

CV Outs behaviour
This will be easier to explain with examples

Let's say we tuned these notes:

C0 or 0v
D1 or 1.166v
F2 or 2.466v
G3 or 3.583v
A4 or 4.75v

1. Next Logic out calculated is gate 3.
CV outs 1-2-3 will output a note in octave 2, the note itself is randomised from the 5 tuned notes (C,D,F,G,A).
CV out 4 will output the exact note tuned with knob 3 (F2)

2. Next Logic out calculated is gate 5.
CV outs 1-2-3 will output a note in octave 4, the note itself is randomised from the 5 tuned notes (C,D,F,G,A).
CV out 4 will output the exact note tuned with knob 5 (A4)

Out 1-2-3 is octave related
Out 4 always output the original tuned note

Knobs Pages access:

MENU/TRIGGER button is used to access pages
After power up it gets to first page by default.

Page 1:
MENU/TRIGGER button is off and blinks with clock inputs

Page 2:
Pressing the MENU/TRIGGER button for 3 seconds the Button Led lights up meaning you're in Page 2, changing knobs will affect the secondary function.
Releasing the button jumps to Page 1

Page 3:
Pressing the MENU/TRIGGER button for 3 seconds the Button Led lights up, keeping it pressed without moving any knob for 3 more seconds makes the Button led go off. At this time you can release the button. After that the button will light up meaning you're in page 3, or the tuning page.
Pressing the button one time jumps to Page 1

Soft-Recall and Memory:

Knob positions are stored in memory while in operation to be able to have a soft recall of the settings, so when jumping from page to page you'll need to rotate the knob until you find the last setting and only then they start to operate. Whenever the pot crosses the last setting point the MENU/TRIGGER button will blink indicating that the knob is now active.

Page 2 & 3 have permanent memory so it will always load the last settings after power up.
Page one is volatile and powers up with the initial knobs settings.

ADDAC System ADDAC611 Gotharman's VC Tube Filter Module (black faceplate)

Tube filter module
Notes: This module was developed upon the Tubaz Filter which was released in 2014 by Gotharman but is currently no longer in production. We loved the original module so much that we officially licensed it's circuit and expanded it to feature several new functionalities.

Here's a paragraph from Gotharman regarding the original design:
"I designed it with the purpose of adding crunch, edge and distortion to my eurorack system. It is not an ideal bandpass filter, that cuts off all frequencies above and below the center frequency.
Because of its high drive, there are, in most cases, some bleedthrough of the harmonics, that should have been cut off. You might consider calling it a "Band Add" filter. The main purpose of it, was to add edge, not to be a perfect bandpass filter."

While everything he mentions is still true we believe he was being modest, It's a dirty, gritty, growling and whining monster which promises you some of the most peculiar filter sounds you'll ever hear.
However do not classify it as a "weird" distortion unit just yet because besides this hairy character it can be easily tamed (using lower volume levels) and then, with some care and intention from the user, it will transforrm itself showing it's feline purrrrr and cuddle sweet and caring, or like any good mut, showing up at night all happy, wet and dirty from a full dog's day and will lay down at your feet while wiggling it's tail howling as yawning just happy to be back home.

As such, standard volume principles do not quite apply to these units, the Audio Levels will go up to x2 amplification, Drive will go up to x11 and master outs go up to x2. The combination of these will cover all diferent qualities it can present. Overall sound can be distorted pre-Tube (raising input levels), in Tube (raising drive) or post-Tube (raising Out levels).
Higher Inputs and Drive will always be gritty, lower Inputs and Drive volumes together with higher Output levels will make the overall behaviour more mellow and closer to what a typical filter would behave like.

No standard expectations should be considered when acquiring these units, all of the tubes were built in the 70's and were bought from various sources, we always kept the premise that no tube was a bad tube (unless not really workinng) so due to each specific characteristics no module will sound exactly the same, making each unit particularly unique. This uniqueness will be particularly evident on their resonance/self-oscilating timbre as well as in their own microphonic qualities.

Regarding power and current draw, the module is designed using a low power tube, so it won't starve your eurorack power supply.

Notes: Inspired by the legacy designs of premium vintage gear, the ADDAC800X behaves like a high-quality DI box and is all about keeping the sound coming from your Modular free from any undesired noisy interferences, making sure that what you're getting from your outputs is what your Modular is actually producing. It provides galvanic electrical isolation between the Modular system and external sources preventing impedance mismatch and ground loop induced hum. ADDAC's 800X circuit is designed around a unity 1:1 type nickel core Hammond Audio Transformer from the 140UEX series (equivalent to Jensen audio transformers).

Operating in the 20 Hz to 20 KHz range and providing exceptional shielding from external sources, this impedance matching transformer provides the 800X with two fully balanced high-end outputs (via XLR connectors).

Applying a transformer balanced output isolation has lots of advantages over other less expensive ways for dealing with ground loop issues. This method provides the chance to set a very simple and clean circuit in which the signal transfer process develops smoothly and humming free. The transformer is a device that performs both signal balancing and high-to-low (or vice-versa) impedance conversion, while rejecting straggled DC voltage and Radio Frequency Interference from signal passing through a magnetic bridge. In a transformer, two (or more) coils (called windings) of insulated wire wound around a magnetic metal core allow for its input(s) and output(s) not to be physically connected together. When an AC signal passes through the input winding (the primary), a perfectly related AC signal appears on the output winding (the secondary). This way, by the fact that signal flows via inductive coupling between the two windings of the transformer, the ADDAC 800X presents a most accurate electrical isolation between its input and output. A same number of windings on each coil guarantees that there's no gain loss when audio signal passes from the primary to the secondary windings. Furthermore, since these two windings are insulated from each other, the transformer will electrically isolate the 800X from any other device, preventing hum problems coming from an outsider ground.

LEFT IN will output sound to both channels.
Through RIGHT IN, signal will only find its way on OUT 2 (if the LEFT/RIGHT toggle is lifted up, RIGHT IN will be ignored and LEFT IN will be present in both OUTs). With both INs connected you'll have two separate outputs (LEFT IN -> OUT 1 & RIGHT IN -> OUT2). However, lifting up the LEFT/RIGHT toggle you'll also find RIGHT IN ignored and LEFT IN will fed both OUTs.

Each TRANSFORMER ISOLATED OUTPUT section has its signal overload warning led and two dedicated toggle switches: one that works as a simple amplifier / attenuator pad to +6dB / -10dB respectively, and a LIFT/FLOAT/GND toggle. This last one is a 3-way selector that lets you choose between lift, ground or floating ground (toggle's middle position) to be taken as reference for the ground point. In the LIFT position the module circuit will be lifted to ground through a 100R resistor and a 10nF capacitor and pin 1 of the XLR connection will act as the ground point. Choosing GROUND will put ground to be shared between inputs and outputs. Floating ground will leave ins and outs grounds completely apart from each other. Any of these three positions may be the best form of avoiding ground loops or any other undesired interference occurring between your modular and the sound system you're plugging it into. Try out which one of this options will work the best in a given situation.

An HEADPHONES AMPLIFIER (with VOLUME knob) connection is available for quietly working with your modular or pre-listen your sounds before making them public matter in a live situation. This section features an OPA2134 High-Performance Audio Operational Amplifier. Supplier's notes:
This 14HP wide module is a voltage controlled noise based oscillator, or noisillator for short. It generates 1/f noise and this is then sent through a feedback loop which allows the noise to be "tuned" to varying degrees depending on the settings of the frequency and resonance controls, or incoming frequency or resonance CV's. The tuned circuit can be FM modulated too, for some thunderous sweeping sounds. We have bright and dark outputs, which are pre and post filter respectively. The Bright output will always have a degree of noise present in the signal, whereas the Dark output can be tuned noise only when 4 pole resonance is selected. We also have an external Sync input, which will reset the resonant waveform, and we also have an Audio input, so that an external signal can be mixed into the resonant loop. Combinations of external waveforms to these two inputs can create some massive drone sounds, or sweeping sync sounds.

There is also an XOR ring modulator, which can be used as a module in its own right too. Lastly, we have an XOR amplifier, which is another independant circuit that can be used to add noise and distortion to any audio signal.

Notes: This 30HP wide module features twelve fixed frequency, inductor based bandpass filters, set at half octave interval spacing and covering from 125 Hz through to 5.8kHz. It also features low pass and high pass shelf filters, again they are fixed frequency and both are active inductor based circuits. It has a vintage pedigree that harks back to the original and highly sought after 914 Fixed Filter bank from the 1960's Moog 900 series modular synthesiser system, however we have brought this design up to date and made it compact enough to fit into skiff friendly Eurorack cases by using gyrator based active inductors, and have added some other very useful features too - the bands are split alternatively to left and right channels, each having their own individual output, and there is also an inbuilt Voltage Controlled cross-fader that allows panning between the left and right banks, with a mix of all bands available in the central position.

In addition, we have a second cross fader that can mix between the dry incoming signal, or an external signal fed into input 2, and this is cross-faded against the wet MIX Output - this allows Voltage Controlled crossfading from wet to dry signals, or between wet and external signals - and the level of each can be adjusted using the Input 1 and Input 2 level controls.

A further addition is the feedback control, this is similar in design to the resonance control on a regular VCF, but because of the multiple fixed filters topology it is rather different in operation - it would normally be added in small amounts to thicken up the sound, however we have allowed the feedback to traverse to quite extreme settings for howling feedback and even soft clipped self-oscillation, especially for the noise merchants out there...

Using L/C inductor topology bandpass circuits rather than the usual Sallen Key R/C active bandpass filters does give a slightly different sound and this is part of the magic of the original 914 filterbank, as the LC based circuit exhibits less phase shift against frequency that the more common Sallen Key R/C based bandpass filters that are used in many Modular synths.

Many people often wrongly assume that a fixed filter bank is exactly the same as a graphic equaliser - however this is certainly not the case, if all of the controls of a graphic EQ are set to centre then a flat frequency response is expected and the output will sound very similar, or identical to the input - this does not happen with a fixed filter bank, the frequency response rises and falls as it passes between each stage (but to a lesser extent than if the filters are all set to maximum output), so it acts as a soft slope comb filter, and the resulting output sounds very different from the input signal. Also, with all of the individual filters turned to zero there will be no output at all.

Here's a bit of fun for all fans of space missions from the previous century! This module is designed to re-create the ground to space and space to ground transissions from the Apollo era.

To be "Mission Control Houston" the Quindar PTT (push to talk) button adds a short 2,525Hz Qindar tone to the start of the transission, then at the end of the message the PTT button or switch is released and a short 2,475Hz Quindar tone is added to the audio. The bandwidth is slightly reduced in this mode.

For "Astronaut comms" we press the Capsule PTT switch, which allows us to add coloured noise, distortion, bandwidth reduction and either hum or LGM (Little green men space tone) noise to the audio signal. A deep space electret condenser mic is supplied and an be used with the MIC input.

Obviously the Lunar Module can also be used to add noise, hum, distortion, bandwidth reduction and LGM noise tone to any modular level audio too, and if the mic is left attached theremin like sounds can be added too with careful loudspeaker feedback.

Notes: AJH Synth have had quite a few requests for a variant of MiniMod contour generator with Release added to the envelope so that it is full ADSR but still with the characteristics of the Model D - so this is what they have done!

The DH-ADSR is exactly the same circuit as the original Model D envelope and therefore features the same contour shape and retrigger behaviour, but with the addition of a release control. However, they have also added a pulse delay and pulse stretch circuit, along with a re-trigger facility (both of these can be switched out of circuit so that the envelope is a simple ADSR unit).

The addition of pulse stretching and retrigger makes it into an LFO module and it can perform in a similar way to the EMS Synthi A and VCS3 Trapezoid generator, with a variable delay between each trigger and a variable "on" time - however it can also have full ADSR envelope on each retrigger too!

Notable Features:

- PREDELAY - This control determines how long (up to 10 seconds) the start of the envelope is held off, after a gate is received. This ability to delay the onset of the envelope is especially useful when used in conjunction with a standard ADSR: With both envelopes receiving the gate simultaneously complex envelopes can be produced as the DH-ADSR only starts running through its stages after the standard ADSR has completed. Once their outputs are mixed together in a mixer a single evolving envelope with multiple stages is produced!

- Use of the bipolar mixer found in the MINIMOD CV MIX-OFFSET-VCA module can enhance this technique even further, with more precise control over the polarity/offset of the envelope mix possible. Using the VCA of this module could allow for external modulation over either/both of the signals. It goes on...

- HOLD - When in Del-Hold mode (switch down) the HOLD control determines the gate length applied to the envelope, and thus controlling its length/overall shape. When the switch is up, normal ADSR action is produced.

Eurorack format dual envelope generator based on the original RA Moog design
Notes: Two independent Contour Envelope Generators in a single 12hp wide Eurorack module. These are very accurate replicas of the Model D contour generators, with identical circuitry and component values running on the correct +9.3V and -10v supply voltages of the original; so they exactly replicate the original envelope response along with all of it eccentricities. Extra features include manual trigger buttons and envelope status LED's.

The contour generators played a larger part in the sound of the Model D than many people realise. There are two factors that make them unique, firstly the exponential slope when is used in conjunction with the (near) linear slope of the original VCA which is responsible for the famous Model D "punch". Secondly, the re-trigger behaviour is quite unique, multiple retriggering increases the output level so that either the volume increases incrementally, or the filter opens incrementally with each extra key press.

AJH Synth have added independent Decay switches for each individual Contour Generator rather than the shared switch on the original synthesiser, these switches change the Contour response from AD (switch up) to ADSD mode (switch down).

Dual LFO with waveshaping, sync input & DC-coupled VCA - dark edition
Notes: This has two LFOs, each with variable waveshape from Saw to Triangle to Ramp waveforms, or variable Pulse width on the Square wave output. LFO 1 has the addition of a low range and a Sync input. The nominal maximum frequency of the LFOs when in Triangle shape is 20Hz, but under certain combinations of settings they will go much higher, well into audio range.

Also included is a DC coupled VCA, the input of the VCA is normalised to the output of LFO 2, so a 0 to +5V input to the VCA CV input gives control of the LFO waveform amplitude. It can also be used as a stand alone VCA.

This module is very useful for controllers such as the Waldorf KB37 where the modulation wheel gives out 0 to +5V, this can be routed to the VCA CV module so the level of the modulation waveform can be easily controlled. This makes it very easy to add VCO vibrato or filter 'wah' with control of modulation amount from the modulation wheel or other controller.

MiniMod Glide + Noise, combining two Minimoog circuits in one module - 6HP
Notes: The original MiniMod Glide +Noise module was based exactly on the original Minimoog Model D circuitry, which was designed to be used with the built in Model D keyboard, and because of its vintage design its range was severely limited to 5 or 6 octaves, and it also responded to positive voltages only. Another limitation was that it would not return fully to zero when selecting long glide times, which restricted the range even more.

So we made the decision to re-design the MiniMod Glide + Noise using modern precision parts, and we have come up with an all new circuit which has exactly the same function, but with a hugely extended range. It has the same Glide slope characteristic (a slightly curved Linear Glide) as the Model D on which the MiniMod is based, however in response to many requests from customers we have adjusted the glide up and down speeds so that they are now very similar , which is much more useful in real world applications that the earlier MK1 version which (like the Model D) would glide up considerably faster than it would glide down.

The new Mk2 MiniMod Glide Noise module now has an impressive 14 octave range, and can respond to negative voltages down to -5V. This is a very useful feature, as our MiniMod VCO's will respond to negative control voltages and produce correspondingly low frequencies; so it is now possible to glide down quickly or slowly to crazy sub bass levels! The hold feature has been improved too, it covers the full audio range as well as DC control voltages, and works as a track and hold module with Eurorack signal levels.

A further enhancement is that the Mk2 module can now (using selectable jumpers) transmit or receive pitch CV to the Eurorack power bus; for example, the Glide CV Output can now be directed to the Bus in order to send CV's to (for example) three VCO's via the bus without the need for a passive multi and four patch cords!

The Noise section of the module is unchanged, except that we have slightly boosted the level of the Red Noise output to bring it more in line with Eurorack control voltage levels.

Lastly, it is much shallower - Mk1 Glide Noise had a depth of 54mm, and it was the only MiniMod module that was too deep to fit a skiff style case - and this prevented a full MiniMod system being installed into a shallow Eurorack case. The new MK2 version is only 28mm deep, so this allows both it and a full MiniMod system to be mounted into shallow skiff style Eurorack cases.

Precision voltages module - dark edition
Notes: Sometimes real precision is required with pitch control voltages - this module features a super accurate "Cal" output, which is accurate to <1mV over 20V, translates to one cent over 20 octaves! It is ideal for calibrating the scaling of VCO's, indeed we have been using our own version of this circuit to calibrate our own MiniMod VCO's for the last three years.

As well as being a precision voltage source it is also a very accurate voltage adder, it has two channels (A & B) and both full volts (octaves) or 1/12th volt increments (notes) can be either added to or subtracted from the incoming signal. Perfect for adding a voltage offset to the output of a sequencer or it can be used to add switchable octaves to a VCO which only has course and fine tunes controls.

It also has a "mix" output, which allows either A channel on its own, or with the three way toggle switch channel B can either be added to, or subtracted from channel B, and this is in addition to the addition and subtraction per channel mentioned earlier.

AJH Synth Mini Mod Sample Hold & Slew Module (silver)

Sample & Hold, Track & Hold, Gated Slew, Clock & Noise generator - silver, 12HP
Notes: A real powerhouse module that takes up only 12 HP of rack space. It can generate random and pseudo random control voltages, staircase waveforms, deliberate aliasing of audio signals, portamento type effects, adjustable audio range noise and has many other uses too.

It can be switched between Sample & Hold or Track & Hold modes, and the unique "Restrict" control affects the way the hold output changes with respect to the current input level and previously held output level. With the control fully off the unit behaves just like any other S/H, but at fully clockwise the output is restricted to move by only a small amount after each new sample. The output will still have the same range as the input, but will need more hold commands to get there. This versatile Sample and Hold circuit was designed by Tony Allgood, and is built under licence from Oakley Sound.

The Sample Hold & Slew module also includes a very well featured Slew generator, which includes a Gated Slew function. It can be used independently or chained with the S&H module. Slew mode can be switched between Linear or Exponential Slew types. There is a Gate input, so that the Slew on/off can be switched using an External CV (Gated Slew), and also the Slew control logic can be reversed by a toggle switch that doubles as a manual Slew on/off switch. In addition, it has slew up only, slew down only or slew up and down modes, which are selected with a three-way toggle switch. An indicator LED lights when Slew is active

There is also an inbuilt analogue Noise generator, which is normalised to the input of the Sample and Hold section, and there are both regular and clipped Noise outputs - the Clipped Noise is particularly useful with the sample and hold section, as it is weighted to produce higher random voltages. Both Noise outputs are fed through an internal "Noise Colour" control - at centre position it allows the noise through unfiltered, turning the control anti-clockwise introduces low pass filtering of the Noise, and rotating it clockwise introduces high pass filtering. The Noise source itself is based on an analogue band gap shunt regulator configured in avalanche mode, and it generates white noise with a gradual roll off above 8kHz. It is a little "grainier" in character than the noise from our MiniMod Glide & Noise module (which uses a reverse biased transistor as a noise source), so is a useful compliment to this module as it does not generate exactly the same sounding Noise

Lastly, it includes a wide range clock generator with a rate LED. The range is from one cycle every thirty seconds to around 2 kHz and the clock output is normalised to the Clock Input of the S&H section. It also has a Clock Out jack so that it can be externally patched to other Eurorack modules.
