Notes: The Listen Four is a four channel stereo mixer with line, modular, and headphone outputs. Two mono channels with Pan knobs and two stereo channels with dual inputs provide optimal compatibility with both stereo and mono signals. The Listen Four can be daisy-chained to other Listen modules to create a larger mixer with sub-mix outputs.

Notes: The Listen Four Quarters is a four channel stereo mixer with 1/4" (6.35mm) TRS balanced outputs and 1/8" (3.5mm) headphones output. Two mono channels with Pan knobs and two stereo channels with dual inputs provide optimal compatibility with both stereo and mono signals. The Listen Four Quarters can be daisy-chained to other Listen modules to create a larger mixer with sub-mix outputs.

Notes: The VCA Matrix from 4ms is a playable 4x4 matrix of 16 VCAs.

Four CV or audio inputs can be routed in any amount/combination to four outputs, using the 16 CV control jacks, Level knobs, and Mute buttons.

Notes: Junction requires a +12V / -12v power supply with a 2x5 pin ribbon cable (included). The red line of the ribbon cable must be aligned with the -12V marking next to the module's power header and on your case's power distribution board. Junction draws 23mA from the +12 rail and 20mA from the -12 rail. Please ensure you have
enough power available before installing.

About Junction

Junction is a compact, 4 channel attenuverter, cascading mixer and multiple designed to fine tune the control voltages in your rack to the perfect range for their destinations. Junction can be used as a source of fixed voltage, offset another voltage, or mix multiple voltages together to create complex and dynamic modulation.

Features

Each channel on Junction has a knob (1) that acts as a manual control for the attenuverter. Center position (12 o clock) is 0V. The first channel input (2) is normalized to +5V when no cable is plugged into it.

A buffered copy of the input signal of the first channel is present on all of the other inputs from from the first (2) to the last (8). This duplication is "cascading" as shown by the arrow graphics on the panel - if a cable is patched into any input, it "breaks" the cascading multiple - all unpatched inputs carry the signal present at the uppermost patched input (or +5V if no inputs are patched). For example, if a signal is patched into the second channel's input (4) the third (6) and fourth (8) channel inputs would carry a copy of the second channel's input instead of the first channel input.

Junction's channels are mixed on the outputs. The output mixer is also "cascading" - when a cable is patched into an output, it carries a mix of it's own output and all unpatched channel outputs above it. For example, if only the last channel output (9) is patched, this output will carry a mix of all of the outputs. Patching the first channel output (3) would remove it from this mix.

Even though Junction's inputs cascade and outputs mix, Junction's output will clip at the Eurorack power rail voltages of +12 and -12V. It is not possible to output a voltage outside of this range, regardless of the signals patched into Junction.

Notes: This module was developed upon the Tubaz Filter which was released in 2014 by Gotharman but is currently no longer in production. We loved the original module so much that we officially licensed it's circuit and expanded it to feature several new functionalities.

Here's a paragraph from Gotharman regarding the original design:
"I designed it with the purpose of adding crunch, edge and distortion to my eurorack system. It is not an ideal bandpass filter, that cuts off all frequencies above and below the center frequency.
Because of its high drive, there are, in most cases, some bleedthrough of the harmonics, that should have been cut off. You might consider calling it a "Band Add" filter. The main purpose of it, was to add edge, not to be a perfect bandpass filter."

While everything he mentions is still true we believe he was being modest, It's a dirty, gritty, growling and whining monster which promises you some of the most peculiar filter sounds you'll ever hear.
However do not classify it as a "weird" distortion unit just yet because besides this hairy character it can be easily tamed (using lower volume levels) and then, with some care and intention from the user, it will transforrm itself showing it's feline purrrrr and cuddle sweet and caring, or like any good mut, showing up at night all happy, wet and dirty from a full dog's day and will lay down at your feet while wiggling it's tail howling as yawning just happy to be back home.

As such, standard volume principles do not quite apply to these units, the Audio Levels will go up to x2 amplification, Drive will go up to x11 and master outs go up to x2. The combination of these will cover all diferent qualities it can present. Overall sound can be distorted pre-Tube (raising input levels), in Tube (raising drive) or post-Tube (raising Out levels).
Higher Inputs and Drive will always be gritty, lower Inputs and Drive volumes together with higher Output levels will make the overall behaviour more mellow and closer to what a typical filter would behave like.

No standard expectations should be considered when acquiring these units, all of the tubes were built in the 70's and were bought from various sources, we always kept the premise that no tube was a bad tube (unless not really workinng) so due to each specific characteristics no module will sound exactly the same, making each unit particularly unique. This uniqueness will be particularly evident on their resonance/self-oscilating timbre as well as in their own microphonic qualities.

Regarding power and current draw, the module is designed using a low power tube, so it won't starve your eurorack power supply.

Notes: ADDAC712 is a dual channel discrete gain staging amplifier, based on a famous discrete preamp board from the 70's used in some legendary equipment.

What was eye-catching was the character of its clipping and resulting saturation/distortion.

The module can be used with modular signals to add a distortion/fuzz character or as a preamp for an external source such as a line source, keyboard, guitar...

It's also a great side companion for our ADDAC711 Balanced Inputs.

At the top an On/Off [BYPASS] switch routes the signal into the Effect (Up: Active) or to the bottom output gain stage (Down: Bypassed).

The amount of amplification is set by the [GAIN] control, the maximum amount of amplification can be set by the user using the [MAX GAIN] trimmer.

Up to +/-5.5v the incoming signal will keep it's integrity, beyond this point saturation will start to increase.

At approx. +/-6v a hard clipping will start to occur, this clipping also has a particular quality that at extreme levels it drifts the audio 0v bias reference, moving it upwards which results are similar to a Gate effect.

In the middle, an x2 opamp based output gain stage with a clipping led, which monitors the clipping at the output, and an [OUTPUT] control to set the output volume.

Having the top and middle gain stages provides flexibility allowing the user to completely distort the signal on the top stage and tame it's output level with the second stage.

Notes: 4ATTMIX offers four input channels which can be level controlled / attenuated by the corresponding knobs. The attenuated signals are sent to four outputs.

Additionally, each channel can be sent to an internal mixer by the switches beside the knobs. The mix signal is then sent to the mix output.

An additional switch selects the general operation mode for the mixer, for DC/CV signals or for audio signals.

Notes: The 3:1 Mixer has two section of 3 inputs to a single output. Each input will be mixed at 1/3 of the level of the input. Each section has an LED indicator indicating activity on the output. Section 1 is normalled to section 2 so it can easily behave as a 6:1 mixer as well.

Supplier's Notes:
The MiniMod Muting Mixer & VCA is a 10HP wide, five channel audio mixer with many useful features. It is available with either a black (Dark Edition), or a silver front panel.

The mixer section has five input channels, and each channel includes a bi-colour tactile LED switch that can instantly mute or un-mute the channel, replicating the oscillator on/off switches on the original Model D synthesiser. This arrangement is more convenient than regular switches as each illuminated switch shows the on/off status of the associated channel and multiple buttons can be pressed at once, making it very useful for live performance.

AJH have also included a four segment LED level meter so that the overall level can be seen at a glance and adjusted to prevent the output from getting too "hot" and causing distortion in other modules further downstream.

It also features a VCA that is integrated into the output section, and this can be switched from linear to exponential response - this allows it to be used as a voltage controlled sub mixer or as a stand alone VCA with five inputs.

Lastly, AJH added a wonderfully soft and warm sounding overdrive circuit that can be switched in to add smooth, tube like distortion. This works in a similar fashion to a master volume guitar amplifier, so the amount of overdrive can be varied widely with different settings of channel and master output levels.

Notes: The Jumble Henge is a 16 input stereo spectral mixer with a unique patch-based mixing interface in a compact space. Each input has a carefully tuned resonant analog filter and a unique fixed pan value, providing each sound its own space within the mix. There is a Mix control to adjust the depth of the filtering and a clean external stereo input for chaining with another mixer or extra sound source. Jumble Henge is a space efficient solution for creating rich stereo mixes from a number of both mono and stereo sources.

INPUTS
Vertical and horizontal patch position determines a source's spectral and stereo placement in the mix respectively.

Aside from centred inputs, every input sits in its own unique pan position, helping to keep a separation between sounds but building a complete stereo image when combined.

The centre right inputs of the top two rows are normalised to the centre left inputs. - i.e if just a left input is patched it will be effectively panned center.

Towards the highs the panning becomes wider - as the human ear better pinpoints direction at higher frequencies, whereas the lows remain more centred for a tighter, more focused sound.

MIX CONTROL
Mix control for the overall depth of the filters applied to the inputs. Note: a slight volume increase occurs near the centre of the dial.

EXTERNAL INPUT
An additional clean stereo input pair for chaining with another mixer or additional source. Right input normalised to left input to accomodate mono sources.

Notes: The 'MEGA-TANG' is a 4-channel linear VCA and stereo mixer providing per input control over level, effect send, pan and muting. Designed for live use in mind with a simple & compact layout, the 'MEGA-TANG' builds on the clean and transparent sounding Tangle Quartet VCA by adding a stereo mix output, effect sends (mono send with a stereo return) which pair great with the MFX, manual panning, soft mute buttons with LED indicators and an expansion port for future expandability.

Individual VCA outputs are available which remove the channel from the main mix (useful for cueing and monitoring). All signals are Euro level and bar the effects return, DC coupled for CV use as well as audio.

Notes: 'Tangle Quartet' is a high quality quad linear voltage controlled amplifier (VCA) providing individual level control of 4 signal inputs with both individual outputs and a combined 'mix' output (for non patched outputs) . Control signal inputs and associated attenuation controls allow for voltage control of signal levels. Control inputs are normalised to 5v thus providing manual mix control in the absence of control signals.

Notes: Part performance mixer, part utility module, with 4 channels of VCA, summed to a stereo output, Tannhauser Gates is AFA's first stereo module.

Based loosely on the Buchla 100 series Gates, each channel boasts a discrete VCA with a rich overdrive sound, stereo panning, a tilt EQ and an easily accessible mute switch. Each channel can be used individually as a mono track or all four can be summed down to the stereo output. The four channels have an individual CV input, or they can all be controlled via the master CV input. The Tannhauser Gates also hosts the capability for a stereo send and return path, expanding your sonic arsenal to other processing modules.

Tannhauser Gates is designed with future expansion in mind. Adding up to three more Tannhauser Gates modules, it is possible to build a performance mixer system of up to 16 channels, all summed to a single output module. The back side of the module is equipped with a number of expansion headers.

Notes: Each of the two sections of the module is capable of performing the analog multiplication of two signals (A and B) and add an offset (C). It can also act as a dual voltage controlled attenuverter, dual ring modulator, dual VCA or four channel mixer (see block diagram below).

The B inputs are routed to an attenuverter that multiplies the signal between -2 to 2, while the offset inputs (C) route through a unity gain attenuverter (multiplies the signal between -1 and 1).

The output of first section is routed to the output of the second (when the first's output is unused), so the second output can act as master to achieve (A1*B1+C1) + (A2*B2+C2) or (A1 + C1) + (A2 + C2) - a 4 channel mixer.

The through-zero (four-quadrant) multipliers in the A*B+C allow for true Ring Modulation. To achieve this, simply connect two waveforms to the A and B inputs.

Notes: Hexmix VCA is a compact six channel VCA with an unique response curve range from logarithmic to linear and to exponential using a pot.

All outputs are routed to output six to act as a mixer, with a normalization of each one to remove each channel from the Mix.

The module can act as six independent VCAs as well as a Mixer for all the inputs (Selectable via a switch).

Every VCA has a response pot for the incoming CV, being full logarithmic at maximum setup and full exponential at minimum setup, having the linear response in the center position.

Level pot of each channel is an attenuator of the signal coming out of each VCA.

Jacks are normalled to 10 volts, so when we have no CV present VCA would be fully open and our Level pot will act as a volume.

Notes: Performance-focussed crossfader module designed to simplify the process of morphing CV and audio signals. Quad channel design with lots of creative potential.

Morphader is a performative tool designed to make multichannel CV/Audio crossfade easy and comfortable. Fading from one quad CV/audio scene to another. The core of the module has four CV controlled crossfaders, each with their individual control and a master fader to control them all. The module mixes the four crossfades at its fourth output, thanks to a clever normalization scheme. Each of them can be easily removed from the mix by plugging a cable at its own output.

Notes: Fully redesigned from the original Cosmix, the Cosmix Pro is an eight-channel mixer intended to work nicely for performance as well as production. Suitable for line-level stereo signals as well as Eurorack levels.

A completely new design, with a lot of attention to sound quality, with a clean, low noise signal path, and lots of headroom.

It features the same amount of channels as the previous Cosmix, 4x mono in, and 2x stereo in.

There's one mono aux bus, and an additional true stereo AUX for all channels, with a dedicated mono and stereo return.

Each channel has a pan pot, a big push button for clickless muting, and a dedicated LED level meter to visualize channel output level.

The mono channels come with a handy low cut switch. (-3dB @80Hz / -6dB @ 45Hz)

The stereo channels have an optional +18dB gain, allowing you to easily mix in line level external gear.

In addition three mixers are included: the socket labelled "1-4" outputs the sum of the VCAs 1-4, the socket labelled "5-8" outputs the sum of the VCAs 5-8, the socket labelled "1-8" outputs the sum of all eight VCAs.

The signal inputs are able to process levels up to 10Vpp without clipping. Each CV input is equipped with a trimming potentiometer that is used to adjust the sensitivity of the CV input in question. In the factory the module is adjusted for the CV range 1...+5V but can be re-adjusted by the user for other control voltage ranges (e.g. 0...+10V).

The amplification range for each single VCA is 0...1. The signals of the sum outputs have a lower amplification to avoid distortion.

The VCAs and mixers are fully DC coupled, i.e. the module can be used for the processing of both audio and control voltage signals. Notes: Module A-135-1 is a quad voltage controlled mixer. It is made of 4 independent linear VCA's. The VCA outputs are mixed to a common output. For each VCA the following inputs and controls are available: audio input with attenuator, control voltage input with attenuator, gain (pre-amplification). The VCA's are realized with high-quality CEM VCA's (CEM3381 for version 1 and SSM2164 for version 2).

Applications: voltage controlled mixing of up to 4 audio signals with separate control voltages (e.g. delivered by LFO's, ADSR's, Random, Shepard generator, MIDI-to-CV interface or other control voltage sources). In connection with the Morphing-Controller A-144 the soft fade-over of 4 audio signals with only one control voltage is possible.

Notes: A-135-2 is a miniature version of the A-135-1. Behind a front panel with 8 HP only four linear VCAs (voltage controlled amplifiers) and a voltage controlled mixer based on the VCAs are available.

Controls, In/Outputs and Functions of each VCA:

- Level (manual control of the VCA amplification), small rubberized knob (L1...L4)
- Control voltage input with associated attenuator (CV1...CV4), for the full VCA control range about 0...+5V control voltage are required (attenuator fully clockwise), for higher control voltages the attenuator is used, the attenuators are without knobs, just plastic shafts with white marker
- Signal Input

- All inputs and outputs are DC coupled. Consequently the VCAs can be used to process both audio and control voltages (e.g. to control the level of LFOs or envelopes)
- The signal input is not equipped with an attenuator. But the VCAs can process all signals up to 15Vpp / -7.5...+7.5V without clipping. In case of higher levels an external attenuator is required (e.g. A-183-1).
- The available amplification range is 0...1, the maximal amplification is 1 (i.e. it "clips" and remains at 1 even if the control voltage goes beyond the value that corresponds to amplification 1)

Functions of the voltage controlled mixers:

- Two outputs ("Selected" and "All")
- Selected output: the ouput if a VCA is removed from this sum signal when a plug is inserted into the corresponding VCA output.
- All output: sum of all VCA outputs, regardless of inserted plugs into the VCA outputs
- The maximal amplification is about 0.6 to avoid clipping at the mixer outputs (otherwise the outputs may distort with 15Vpp signals at each signal input and full amplifications)

Special functions of the voltage controlled mixers (selectable by internal jumpers):

- Dual Stereo VCA: In this case the control unit of VCA1 (L1 + CV1) affects also VCA3 and the control unit of VCA2 (L2 + CV2) affects also VCA4, the control units of VCA2 and VCA4 are out of operation
- Quad VCA: In this case the control unit of VCA1 (L1 + CV1) affects all four VCAs. The control units of VCA2, VCA3 and VCA4 are out of operation. In this mode the module has the same function as module A-132-2. That's why module A-132-2 will be discontinued.
- Normalling of the signal inputs: by means of internal jumpers signal input 1 can be normalled to signal input 2, signal input 2 to signal input 3 and signal input 3 to signal input In 4. That way the same input signal can be distributed to four different channels by means of control voltages (e.g. quadrophonic distribution of audio signals). Suitable control voltage sources are e.g. A-144 (Morphing Controller) or A-143-9 (Quadrature LFO).

Notes: A-138s is a simple but useful 4-in-2 mixing tool. It has four inputs available. Each input is equipped with an attenuator (Level) and a panning control that is used to distribute the signal to the left and right output. Beyond stereo mixing it is equally suited to create variable parallel routings. For example: Any of the four inputs may be routed in variable intensity to feed two filters.

You may regard the A-138s as a smaller version of the A-138m Matrix Mixer.

Inputs and outputs are DC coupled, i.e. the module can be used for the mixing of control signals too.

Notes: A-138s is a simple but useful 4-in-2 mixing tool. It has four inputs available. Each input is equipped with an attenuator (Level) and a panning control that is used to distribute the signal to the left and right output. Beyond stereo mixing it is equally suited to create variable parallel routings. For example: Any of the four inputs may be routed in variable intensity to feed two filters.

You may regard the A-138s as a smaller version of the A-138m Matrix Mixer.

Notes: Erica Synths Fusion Dual Mixer is designed to mix and overdrive audio signals on the vacuum tube.

Use the Fusion Mixer as two independent 3-input mixers (also for stereo signal mixing) or a 6-input mixer. Special feature of the Fusion Mixer - great tube overdrive effects when level knobs are set to 3 o'clock or above. When used with drum machines, it even emulates sidechain compressors. When used to mix signals from VCOs Fusion Mixer it works as waveshaper, especially, if pulse width modulated pulse signals is used in one of inputs.

All Fusion modules by default are configured to work with regular eurorack PSU.

Due to the fact that cold tube heaters have lower resistance, Fusion modules have significant power consumption peak at startup, when power consumption almost doubles for 1-2 seconds. This is not a problem with linear PSUs that have power inertia, but may cause switching PSU internal protection to turn off power supply. Please make sure your PSU has some headroom before installing multiple Fusion modules.

Notes: The 333 is a summing and distribution module for Eurorack modular systems.

It is composed of three identical sections, the red, yellow and green, each of those featuring three inputs summing amplifier with three independently buffered outputs.

Derived directly from the CGM creative mixer series, the sum section is DC coupled, allowing the sum of control voltages as well as audio signals.

With an extremely low tolerance in both sum and output sections, it is suitable also for summing quantized voltages like the ones coming out from the quantized outputs of the SAPEL.

In case CVs or audio signals are particularly hot, the 6dB attenuator might be helpful to reduce exactly by 50% the incoming signals.

Red and yellow output are also normalled to the 1st jack socket of the yellow and green input: in this way this module can also work as a 1 to 9 buffered multiple.

Notes: The SC (Stereo Channel) is a single-channel stereo module for the CGM Eurorack mixer, fully compatible with every other product of this family.

Notes: Looking Glass is an 5 x 5 active patchbay/matrix mixer/switcher for both audio and control voltages. It features:

5 inputs (1 through to 5), each with attenuators
5 inverted outputs (A through to E) which are 180o out of phase with the inputs
5 normal outputs (A through to E) which are in phase with the inputs
A switch matrix of 25 push on/push off switches and LED status indicators
Any of the 5 inputs can be patched to any of the 5 outputs simply by pressing the corresponding switches. A patched signal will appear at both normal and inverted outputs simultaneously.

A single input can be patched to a single output. A single input can be patched to multiple outputs. Multiple inputs can be patched to a single output. Multiple inputs can be patched to multiple outputs.

The attenuators allow you to reduce the volume of an incoming signal. If you add many inputs to one output you will of course cause clipping (which may or may not be desirable!), the attenuators are your on-board way around this.
