Pure major third and minor third markings:
Inaccuracies of the harmonies in a triad are particularly easy to notice when played by an ensemble such as a brass band or orchestra. By slightly adjusting the pitch of a major or minor third relative to the equal-tempered interval, a beautiful-sounding pure third can be obtained. The meter scale of the CA-2 includes markings to indicate pure major and minor thirds relative to a specified pitch. Simply by tuning your instrument to these markings, you can perform beautiful, pure harmonies when playing in an ensemble.

Adjustable calibration for a wide range of concert pitches:
The calibration function (410-480 Hz) can be adjusted in 1 Hz steps for accurate and flexible tuning to any song or key.

Sound mode emits a reference tone from the built-in speaker:
In addition to tuning visually with the meter, you can also tune by ear using a Sound Out mode that's chromatically adjustable in the range of C4-C5.

Approximately 200 hours of continuous use:

Quinta Flat tuning mode:
The GA-2's Quinta Flat Tuning mode supports the lowered tunings used in heavy metal styles to give more weight to the sound. The GA-2 gives you five steps of flatted tuning, extending as far as five semitones below standard pitch, and supporting even super-long scale guitars that are five frets longer than conventional guitars.

Tune with adjustable calibration:
Since the calibration value of 430-450 Hz is shown within the meter, you can tune using the calibration of your choice.

Notes: The Headtune is a clip-on tuner with a unique design that's based on the shape of a guitar, bass, or ukulele headstock. With the headtune attached to the headstock of your instrument, play a single note on the string that you want to tune. 2 x indicators will illuminate: the string indicator LED will show the peg position, and the LED meter will indicate the tuning of that note. This makes it obvious which peg needs to be adjusted. You can choose from a lineup consisting of 4 x models: 2 x models that are suitable for standard guitar headstocks, a model for bass, and a model for ukulele. The Headtune features an extremely compact and lightweight body that easily fits into the pocket of your guitar case for effortless transportation.

You can adjust the angle by raising the meter display section to a maximum of 120 degrees. The string indicator LEDs and LED meters provide high contrast and a wide viewing angle, ensuring easy visibility for the player even in dimly lit locations, and allowing you to tune from a natural position.

The Headtune features the same highly stable clip as used on Korg's clip-on pitchclip tuner. It will securely attach to the headstock of your guitar, bass, or ukulele.

Using a widely-available lithium coin battery (CR2032) provides the Headtune with a generous 35 hours of usage. The Auto Power-Off function automatically turns the headtune off when no sound has been detected for approximately ten minutes, avoiding unnecessary battery consumption.

The MA-2's display is 30% larger than that of the previous model, drastically improving the visibility. Within the display, a digital needle moves between left and right, providing a visual indication of the beat in additional to the audible indication. A triangular icon shows the beat position and the timing at which the measure changes.

The MA-2 is equipped with a newly designed electronic buzzer. It's more powerful, providing easily audible sound that won't be buried by high-volume instruments or high frequencies.

Covers all the needs of rhythm training:

You can choose from three different methods of setting the tempo: pendulum step lets you specify a numeric value just as on a mechanical metronome, full step lets you specify the tempo in one-step increments, and tap tempo lets you specify the tempo by pressing a button in time with the song you're playing. You can also combine a time signature of between 0-9 beats with eight types of rhythm, supporting many types of musical practicing.

Equipped with "timer mode" and "sound out mode" for daily practicing:

The MA-2 provides basic metronome function, but also includes a "timer mode" and a "sound out mode" that are useful for daily practicing. Use the MODE button to switch between these at a touch.

Reverse function vertically inverts the meter display:

The reverse function is good news for users who attach the tuner to the back side of the headstock to make it less visible when seen from the front, and for left-handed players. With the power off, long-press the switch to vertically invert the meter display. This lets you tune regardless of whether the tuner is attached to the front or the back of the headstock, and regardless of the orientation.

24-hour battery life, and an auto-power-off function:

A single widely-available lithium coin cell battery (CR2032) provides approximately 24 hours of continuous operation. The tuner is also equipped with an auto-power-off function that automatically turns off the power when approximately three minutes pass without sound being detected.
