Review: Following on from 2015's Songs People Actually Liked - Volume 1, which saw Texan pop-punk mainstays Bowling For Soup re-record a collection of their biggest singles and fan favourites in response to their former label releasing a greatest hits compilation without their knowledge, consent or input; a second instalment now continues the same trajectory, while this time focusing on material from 2004-2009. Covering the albums A Hangover You Don't Deserve (2004), The Great Burrito Extortion Case (2006), and Sorry for Partyin' (2009), and featuring revised versions of some of the group's excellent latter day hits such as '1985', 'High School Never Ends' and 'When We Die', this is an essential fan-purchase with the funds going directly back to the artists themselves.
