Notes: The Battalion Bass Preamp and DI is a compact, flexible pedal that delivers powerful tone shaping capabilities in a rugged pedalboard-friendly package. The Battalion is loaded with features that will appeal to tone conscious bass players and includes a four-band equalizer, fully-featured MOSFET distortion section with three signal path options, a compressor, a noise gate and comprehensive I/O.

The pedal's four-band EQ section includes Bass (below 200Hz), Lo Mid (boost/cut at 280Hz), Hi Mid (Boost/cut at 750Hz) and Treble (boost/cut above 2kHz) controls. Its Distortion section is equipped with Level, Blend, Drive and Tone controls plus a dedicated footswitch. Three signal flow modes determine where the distortion is applied within the signal chain and each delivers unique tonal variations. They are: Pre EQ, where the distortion comes before the EQ. The Battalion's compressor is engaged via pushbutton and includes a level control and blue LED. The pedal's Gate knob sets the threshold for the noise gate while the -10dB Pad Button lets the pedal accommodate basses with both active and passive pickups.

The Battalion includes a 1/4" input jack , a 1/4" output jack that is headphone ready, 1/4" dry output and a balanced XLR output for use as a DI. The DI features dedicated level, bypass and ground lift controls.

Notes: The Cntl Knob is an affordable, compact, easy-to-use pedal that delivers static remote control for devices with expression control jacks. It lets you set two preset values that represent two positions of a traditional expression pedal and toggle between them with its footswitch.

Notes: The EHX Cock Fight Plus offers up the award-winning tone of the original Cock Fight in a rugged, lightweight pedal and with a traditional rack and pinion style operating mechanism. It contains two different expressive filters: a traditional wah pedal filter and a formant filter used for vowel sounds. The Cock Fight also features a lively fuzz section that can be added before or after the filter section, or taken out of the signal path completely.

The Wah toggle switch selects between the classic wah tones of the Crying Tone and the dual formant filter of the Talking Pedal, which creates vowel-like sounds. The Bottom control blends back in clean bass frequencies to beef up the low-end and make the wah sound more bass-friendly. The Volume control sets the master output level.

The Fuzz section features a three position toggle switch for Off, Pre-wah, and Post-wah settings. The Drive and Tone controls set the amount and overall brightness of the fuzz respectively. Bias controls the amount of bias voltage supplied to one of the transistors in the fuzz circuit and can create a full, saturated tone or a sputtering, gated fuzz sound.

Notes: The new Flatiron Fuzz is a classic op-amp powered fuzz/distortion. With its late '70s style circuit and symmetrical hard clipping, it's EHX's take on the RAT2 pedal, only we think it's better.

The Flatiron Fuzz is extremely versatile. At lower drive settings it remains fairly clean and adds a pleasing mild distortion. As the drive is turned up it transports you to a world of arena rock and produces spectacular, thick, meaty tones.

The stellar sound of the Flatiron Fuzz is a result of its classic, late '70s style circuitry and the fact that it delivers symmetrical hard clipping. As a point of reference, you might refer to the old Rat pedal, but we think you'll prefer the Flatiron.

The Flatiron Fuzz features three controls: Volume, Drive and Filter. Volume sets the output level while Drive adjusts the amount of sustain and distortion. The unique Filter control is actually a low pass filter with a movable cut-off frequency. Volume Knob:

Use the Volume knob to set the output level.

Tone Knob:

Adjust the Tone knob to explore a range of sounds from high treble to deep bass. Turn the knob clockwise to increase treble and decrease bass. Turn the knob counter-clockwise to increase bass and decrease treble.

Sustain Knob:

The Sustain knob adjusts the amount of sustain and distortion.

Footswitch & Status LED:

Use the footswitch to toggle between effect and bypass. The Green Russian Big Muff is active when the LED is lit. When the LED is off, the pedal is in true bypass mode.

IN Jack:

Plug the output of your instrument or another effects pedal into the 1/4" IN jack. The input impedance presented at this jack is 130kO.

OUT Jack:

Connect the Green Russian Big Muff's 1/4" OUT jack to the input of your amplifier or another effects pedal. When the Green Russian Big Muff is in bypass mode, the OUT jack is connected directly to the IN jack. The output impedance is nominally 25kO.
