Review: Hardmon London is back with its fourth release, signed by the mysterious Jay Green.
The concept is still the same: the achieved sound as most important element and obviously, it goes without saying; forget using a computer if you want to join the hardmoon london crew.

Review: "Hardmoon London is a new independent platform solely focused to release music by the analog militants who are struggling against the loudness war of digital industry and want to spread the love of that warm, distorted sound exclusively through vinyl or special tapes. The tracks we are going to release are recorded directly on tape without ""the help"" of computers, so that interference, mistakes, and noise are all going to be apart of what's pressed straight onto the 180 grams of throttling hammers grinding away. It's all enclosed within in a special printed sleeve!
The first release comes by way of courtesy from the mysterious Hissman who captures, with his name, the vey essense of the tape's sound: Hissssss... that's the sound you hear when a tape starts rolling.

The Invisible Crowd EP (heavyweight vinyl 12")

Deep House
  1. Abstract Magneto (5:40)
  2. Lost In You (7:44)
  3. Hello (7:06)
  4. Ultraphonic Loop (6:41)
Review: London's Hissman, a man hugely preoccupied with the sound quality emanating from a tape head, returns to his own city's Hardmoon imprint, and he appears in the company of four stunning analogue jackers for your Saturday evenings. "Abstract Magneto" bounces its way left, right and center amid subtle swirls of sonics and heavy bass tone for that extra punch, whereas "Lost In You" is a little more uplifting and string-heavy. Flip the wax and you'll find the moody, raucous bangs of "Hello", followed by "Ultraphonic Loop", another drum heavy excursion into dusty hardware except this time we're joined by a few hefty waves of acid. Killer.

Review: Hardmoon London continues its new found adventure by releasing another piece of the impure sound it thrives on. This time bringing in Chicago Legend: Gene Hunt. Hunt takes a look back into the history books of Chicago with some no-nonsense gritty acid tracks that have been designed to shatter teeth and jaws alike.

Handmoon EP (heavyweight vinyl 12")
Cat: HM 06. Rel: 27 Jan 16
Deep House
  1. Alphabetic (4:33)
  2. Army (7:45)
  3. Australia (6:48)
  4. Go Away (5:43)
Review: Sagats & Ludovico, a Venetian duo with ties to the Analogue Cops, present their debut release of raw hardware house recorded straight to tape with no digitisation. The rusty and pounding analogue rhythms of "Alphabetic" are complimented by some nice snarling acid leads while "Army" features jacking vocal samples and more dusty and syncopated rhythms. On the flip "Australia" hardly sounds like anything from a Baz Luhrmann film, with its funky jazz loops and furious rhythm sounding more like homeboy John Swing than anything else. Finally "Go Away" is definitely the darkest effort on here taking things dustier and rustier and downright dirtier on this proper lo-fi house jam. Tip!

Review: Back for one more night with Hardmoon London. Fresh new, gritty, mind-altering tracks by way of Steve Murphy and the eight armed, cephalopod mollusc, DJ Octopus. The Duo are bringing their ecstatic energy for an exciting break in the the label. Definitely count on some serious hardware action to create the finest dance-floor melters. Encapsulating only the cream of the contemporary electronic sounds with the beautiful renditions of classic house just laced with fat sweltering bass and heavily distorted seizure inducing melodies.
