Techno
Scars (6:06)
Minus 2 (5:42)
Review: Ben Klock's ever-reliable techno stable welcomes back Temudo, the Portuguese star who has been in steady ascendance over the past few years dropping bombs on Synewave, Planet Rhythm, Modularz, Soma, Blueprint and scores more. His is a taught and focused sound - the kind of thing you'd expect to hear the likes of Klock dropping with glee in the middle of a marathon set. 'Scars' focuses on the subtle details around the groove, edging in kinks around the kick which take on an electro-acoustic quality guaranteed to take you deep into the wormhole. 'Minus 2' is another reduced mind-melter, using negative space to deadly effect and ensuring no sound is out of place.

Zenith (5:44)
The Rite (5:32)
Tzeentch (5:03)
Stormveil (5:35)
Review: Troy is back on Klockworks with more of his signature sound across four effective but also stylish sounds. First u pis the classic Berlin sound of 'Zenith' with its rattling dub chords and loopy synth smears. It's grainy and lo-fi and irresistible. 'The Rite' ups the ante with more speedy, hinted over drum programming and pulsing synth stabs that keep you on edge. 'Tzeentch' follows a smiler path but with distance lights hinting at an urban metropolis then 'Stormveil' ends with another paranoid techno roller full of muscle and myst

Preludio (5:14)
El Vínculo (5:35)
Pugna (6:32)
Delirio (4:50)
Review: Ribe and Roll Dann are two techno mastros from Madrid, already renowned for various past releases on labels including Semantica, Soma and Mord.Their minimalistic yet powerful style has seen them rub shoulders with esteemed figureheads among whom Ben Klock has been the most eminent - leading to this crisp four-tracker here. This is muted techno of the atmospheric, somewhat organic variety, and all tracks come with a slinky life feel that neatly complements the pair's live sets.

Prefix (5:40)
Gateway (5:53)
Hydrocarbon (4:33)
Prism (7:19)
Review: Klockworks label head Ben Klock is back on his home label, this time in association with Fadi Mom across four fierce cuts. 'Prefix' is an all out techno blizzard as flurries of drums, toms, fizzing hi hats and glitchy claps all coalesce into one powerful linear groove. 'Gateway' brings bleeping and pulsing synths over urgent drum funk while 'Hydrocarbon' is a head wrecker with warped lines and panel-beating drums. 'Prism' is the sublime and seductive seven minute closer that offers a more smooth and minimal techno sound. It's a fourth very different mood on this fantastic record.

2023 (6:11)
Float Here Forever (6:06)
Group Dynamics (6:21)
Ashamed (6:29)
Review: With previous releases for heavy hitters of the techno scene such as MORD LTD, Planet Rhythm and Modularz, Joao Rodrigues aka Temudo returns with some pounding grooves. Berlin's Klockworks is a fitting home for Rodrigues' brand of peak time industrial strength DJ tools, as heard on the four featured cuts of the imprints 31st edition. From the Berghain ready mayhem of opener '2023' to the factory floor mechanisms of 'Group Dynamics'' and the eerie hypnotic minimal of 'Ashamed' which is perfectly tackle for Sunday morning trance induction - ideally in a dark concrete underground bunker. Intense!
