Review: Fabe is based in tech house hotspot Mannheim, Germany and wears the influence of his hometown on his sleeve proudly but don't get him wrong; he's definitely honing his own sound! "The Last Record" is the kind of rolling and hypnotic minimal house that's more informed by the Romanian sound, as is "Chroma Sa" except there's more power under the bonnet, with its tough and shuffling 909 groove sounding as good as anything iO (Mulen) has done of late. On the flip there's even more quality but the standout was definitely the sombre and emotional groove of "Last Seq" which has the dreamy bittersweet vibe that reminds us of Baby Fords finest moments.

Review: Mannheim's finest Fabian Winkels is back with the third installment in the Out Of A Change series, on his very own Salty Nuts label. Features some groovy minimal funk that's ever typical of Fabe in the form of "Who You' followed by the deep Stateside swing of "Good Days Predominate" on the A side. Turn over, you've got the thumpin' back room dub of "Take Another Sound" which was easily the highlight here, as well the UK 2-step style of "Doors Open" and another atmospheric downbeat jam for chill moments on 'Back Of The Clouds". Tip!

Review: Buckle up for the latest space crusade from Salty Nuts. This one finds Oden & Fatzo at the helm and the trip begins with the slick and seductive tech house perfection of 'Spaceship For Sale' which glides on silky synths to an imagined future. 'Casinomania' bubbles with all the sort of pixelated sounds and hyper real chords that you would get on the gambling floor of a Las Vegas hotel and '69 Party Boys' is another lithe, neon-lit future-tech-funk gem that gets a remix from Fabe. In the popular Brazilian's hands it becomes a little more thrown back thanks to its warm organ bass.
