Review: German producer Andre Hommen presented his first full length release titled More Than This on his own label These Eyes back in 2020. We're now treated to a series of remixes of LP highlight 'Pantone' and the one which obviously stands out the most is the first one by the one and only Donato Dozzy. The Italian hypnotic techno expert takes over the A side with his delirious, tribal trance rendition. Over on the flip, two more versions follow; the equally legendary Michael Mayer of Kompakt Records serves up a splendid makeover that retains the emotive feel of the original, while German deep house stalwart Manuel Tur delivers a serving of slow burning and tunnelling minimal techno.

German producer Andre Hommen, a longstanding affiliate of Dennis Ferrer's Objektivity imprint, presents two remixes from his recent More Than This LP released earlier this year. Featured here are the first of two special remix packages released via Hommen's own label - These Eyes. More Than This Remixes Pt. 1 includes reworks from two staples of the esteemed Kompakt Records: the legendary Robag Wruhme brings his unmistakable sound to the remix of 'Cohesive' on the A side, which is a glitchy yet ultra deep minimal house workout, followed by ascendant Cologne-based producer Jonathan Kaspar's rendition of ;Eins' on the flip. This one goes for a more subdued tone, giving the track's elements room in the mix for a contemplative listen - proper mood music.
