Do The Cookie Dough Throw (Lay Far remix) (5:35)
Tiger Jaw (Wrongtom dub) (3:38)
Jackpot (feat Anne Frankenstein - BJ Smith remix) (7:15)
Review: The Gene Dudley Group's debut album, Zambidoose, included one of the highlights of Summer 2015 - a righteous, brass-heavy funk cover of Todd Terje's nu-disco anthem "Inspector Norse". Here, other tracks from that set are given a new lease of life via three new remixes. Alexander Lay-Far kicks things off, subtly turning "Do The Cookie Dough Throw" into a righteous chunk of swinging, offbeat Latin house/funk fusion. In contrast, mixing desk maestro Wrongtom delivers a booming, bass-heavy dub reggae interpretation of "Tiger Jaw", while BJ Smith goes all warm, organic and Balearic on his invitingly sunny mix of "Jackpot", complete with dreamy vocals from Anne Frankenstein.

Meet Me On The Corner (Crazy P dub) (5:48)
Meet Me On The Corner (I Gemin remix) (6:48)
Sinner (Envee remix) (4:26)
Review: The gritty, stomping funk finale track from Honeyfeet's debut album earlier this year, "Meet Me On The Corner" gets the treatment: Crazy P get so spaced out and cosmic they leave an original and a dub version which are both as cosy and dreamy and loaded with slap bass as each other. Elsewhere Mihail Popov brings a straight up deep house twist that nods with reverence to Paris with is stately jack and shimmered chords. Last but not least comes a subtly dark-tinged horn melting twist on the band's debut single "Sinner" from Envee. Wah Wah aren't cutting corners on this one.

Funky Spider Dance (The Reflex revision) (7:07)
A Fifth Of Beethoven (The Reflex revision) (7:31)
Back Home Sweet Home (The Reflex revision) (7:32)
Review: The Wah Wah 45s label is responsible for rescuing of the work of long forgotten Canadian/Haitian pianist, Henri-Pierre Noel. Both his 1979 debut Piano and its early 80s follow-up One More Step have been rediscovered and repressed by the label, and here we get a selection of cuts from the latter all reworked by the French producer The Reflex. There are four killer reworks here - the pumped up Afro-disco belter, "Funky Spider Dance", the boogie-up clavinet heavy take on "A Fifth Of Beethoven", the ramshackle island grooves of "Back Home...Sweet Home" and toughened up raw funk of "Diskette". Class.

E Go Betta (O Flynn edit) (4:32)
I Don't Care (Books remix) (5:45)
I Don't Care (Bopperson remix) (6:09)
Review: The second version instalment that explores Kuti student Sosimi's 2015 album You No Fit Touch Am, Wah Wah have recruited more innovators to take fresh perspectives on Dele's crisp Afrobeat. DJ Khalab mirrors the guitars with rising synth textures that sit subtly in the background adding more tension that's released with a brilliant blunt bass hook. O Flynn adds just a little dubby disco charm to "E Go Betta" while Books gives "I Don't Care" a serious twist as it intros with swooshing Hidden Orchestra style breaks before dipping into a chugging house stomp. Bopperson closes on a slow smouldering note, creating more space around the Dele's beautiful instrumentation. Refixes fit to touch.
