After almost a decade, Al Kent has decided to re-launch his acclaimed series of personal re-edits, "Disco Demands". He's clearly been itching to share his most successful disco reworks, because "Part 6" is an all action affair packed to the rafters with high-grade treats. You'll find the same material mixed together on one disc and in DJ-friendly unmixed form on the other. Highlights are plentiful, from the stretched-out, extra-percussive build-ups of Kent's revision of Ava Cherry's "You Never Loved Me" and the flanged guitar goodness of his extended revision of George McCrae's "Givin' Back The Feeling", to the high octane disco-rock thrills of Jo Bisso's "I Wanna Love" and the delay-laden late night sleaze of JD Hall's piano-powered "Wonder Woman".
