Sascha Mambo and Guillaume Des Bois' Macadam Mambo has been a little favourite of ours since the label's first release back in 2012, mainly because of its sheer diversity; tracks from people like Takeshi Kouzuki, Muslim Disco Club and Traxx on the same imprint represent a big 'yes' for us! Andrea Noce, an Italian synth specialist who only recently released an album of Selva Electric, teams up with synth legend David Kristian, and the air work up three magical tunes. The titler "Be In Sync" is a beat-driven, crystal-eyed machine from a dreamy planet somewhere on a different galaxy, while "So Far So Good" is a slower, drearier beauty. On the flip, however, is where the real magic is at - "Sleepiness Scale" is a gorgeous blend of minimal percussion and airy synths, a true beauty. For the thinkers!
