Italy consistently proves itself to be a hotbed of electronic talent, from big room techno DJs to Italo magicians. The country also has a habit of producing raw industrial sounds like few others manage, with Asymmetrical a pretty good example of what we're talking about. Not least given the artist in question manages the label called Raw Culture.
In this instance, though, they've opted to release on the excellent Fill Lex imprint, and what a seven track release it is. Opening with 'Isis', a kind of slow motion rendition of wrecking ball hitting building to create a concrete beat, the track is also given a remix further into the album, adding more depth and timbre to move closer less specialised dancefloors. Elsewhere, there are freaky minimalist acid wobblers ('Overwhelmed'), echo-y head nodding early electro-esque breaks ('This Humility'), and so much more. Simply put, you're not going to get bored here.
