Belgian imprint PRR! PRR! Follows up some great releases by homeboy Maoupa Mazzochetti and DJ Coquelin with the Battle Break various artists compilation that shows off their new breed of recruits. Expect some nefariously rusty and dust coated lo-fi EBM mutations of the techno battle tools kind; sold already? Take for instance the explosive synth bass funk explosion of B-Ball Joints "Battle Joints 1", the early 90s rave referencing and absurd sample collage that is Bischepiehls' "Dancemix 2016" and Venderstrooik's "Tamahatu Appapa Lagos" which bears an uncanny resemblance at times to the afore mentioned Mazzochetti. Sadly he does not appear on this release but rest assured there's still more goodies: honourable mentions to Evil Grimace and their gabber mimicking and L.A.A.M.'s dusty house workout "Don't LOL".
