UK IDM legends Michael Golding and Steve Rutter aka B12 return with more new material for Sheffield's Central Processing Unit, following up some great releases. Some seminal ones on Warp Records and their eponymous imprint, of course. Not to mention the pair's new imprint FireScope in recent times. Starting out on the A side with the deep, stripped and mellow 303 acid of "Untold" and "Play With Me" which re-captures the zeitgeist of early UK intelligent techno; a sound they helped pioneer. On the flip, they save the best for last on the dark and tunnelling downbeat futurism of "Conektion". More amazing work from these true heroes of the electronic music underground.
