The first release of Default introduced us to emergent players in the minimal tech field such as Exander and Rojid, and they're at it again with the fresh faces on part two. Exander makes a welcome return on the B-side with the moody "Odyssey", but there's also sparkling new dubwise immersions from Camelia and crafty micro-disco from Macarie to lose yourself in. Lulla turns in one of the most interesting cuts on the record, using a densely packed rhythm section and a smattering of sample slices to create a dynamic club track full of inventive energy.
