Having launched earlier this year with a superb debut release - you need to check that FX MCHN cut if you're not familiar - The London Housing Trust imprint calls time on 2012 with a 12" from another hitherto unknown producer in CD. Them Back stands tall among the endless conveyor belt of house music replicas being churned out now with a regularity alarmingly similar to the pre-conditioned human castes that populate Huxley's Brave New World, with the title track marked by mid tempo beats and chords wrapped deftly around the titular vocal refrain. There are also two accompanying remixes of "Them Back" to chew on - the typically rambunctious techno tweak from Power Vacuum boss Bintus is particularly worthy of your attention - and an aptly name Basement Dub to round off proceedings.
