Glasgow based Craig Hamilton and Gourlay join forces for two cuts on this fine split EP, while Hamilton goes solo on the opening two salvos. He opts for a hardcore deep house sound that drives onwards. 'Back & Forth' is a nimble groove thats on a deep space mission, while 'Vibe' ducks and dives on low slung bass and nice female coos. When the pair hook up, 'Higher Nature' is all about losing your head in the cosmic clouds and then 'Screw Loose' gets you marching with a sweat on through raw drum work and far-sighted pads.
