Hello to brand new London based tech house label Transient. It kicks off with a showcase of its label talent in the form of this various artists four-tracker. Daniel Broesecke opens up with a nice and heady, roomy tech cut with cosmic synths and swirling pads taking you up amongst the stars. Vern then offers 'Portal' which is squelchy electronic funk with rubbery bass and bendy synth tones.
VLF's 'Active Remote' is a deeper cut with a sleek and hypnotic drum line and frosty little synth details. Josh Wicks closed down with what might be the EP highlight, 'Time Trip.'
