He's long been a prolific re-editor of music from both sides of the "Black Atlantic" (EG South America, Central America, Africa and the west side of the Iberian Peninsula), but for whatever reason Man Recordings boss Daniel Haaksman has never made any of these inspired scalpel works public. Helpfully BBE has persuaded him to do just that on "Black Atlantica Edits", a superb selection of dancefloor-focused re-edits that draws on both vintage and contemporary music from both sides of the Atlantic). It's a celebration of Afro-Latin music old and new, with added dancefloor weight and a cast-list that includes plenty of legendary and must-check artists.
