Classic Sheffield bleep soul business... CPU celebrate their half a century with these crystalline rebuilds of two 1990 Detromental classics. Now more commonly known as D Ramirez, Detromental was one of Dean Marriott's earliest endeavours, and the grooves have matured exceptionally well. "Move" is the breezier affair with real acid chops when the riff kicks in while "Rewind" has more of a jacking drive to the drums and a fluid sense of narrative that flips from section to section, bassline to bassline. Class materials like these will never die.
