Berlin-based Johan Norling's DJ City project is not afraid to tackle big samples, as this new outing on Public Possession proves. He is a regular here and always brings the fun, so long as you can suspend your sense of disbelief at, for exanple, a massive Cold Play reference. 'Clocks' lifts its melody from the stadium-rock anthem of the same name and has the vocals reusing in a deadpan German vocal. It's weird but it works, even if it is sure to divide opinion. The same tune is on both sides for plenty of hardcore DJ abuse.
