Marsh Mellow first put out this tidy funk 7" in 2011 and now reissue 100 copies of it on white vinyl. Side A is DJ Suro a re-work of Patti Drew's 1968 version of 'Hard to Handle' that has big brass sounds, low slung bass and a fine soul vocal scoring to real heights. The flip is a distinctly Latin take on 'Por Eso' that swaggers between wooden hits and Spanish vocals. It's pure sunshine on 7" and though the water might be closing in, this one keeps the good time open air party vibes well and truly alive.
