The fifth installment of New Zealand producer Eden Burns' Big Beat Manifesto series sees a culmination of Trance, Future Bass and Deep House elements in the expansive mixes of 'Choir Song' and 'Eden's Acid' that never takes a moment to stop, constantly flowing between different vibes and atmospheres throughout each track. There are pure house moments, like on the piano banger 'Super Stroke', not to mention the whimsical trance cut 'Dance When The' and its fun use of vocal samples. The Big Beat series is youthful and fun at its very nature, and is a refreshing take on the longstanding house genre. Burns' work to this day reflects his colourful and maximalist introduction to the scene as a teenager, and these light and uplifting tracks are just another in a long list of reasons you should be listening.
