Ahead of a Moonboots compiled Best Of CD due out later this year, Is It Balearic? bosses Coyote indulge in some advance celebrations to toast a fine year, with some of their more celebrated peers and contemporaries invited to remix tracks from their plump back catalogue. Phoreski already retains the honour of participating in the inaugural Is It Balearic? release, and here he adds some slow burning menace to "Electric Sunburst" from the 2009 Harlyn Bay LP. This is complemented by a refix of "Pacific Breeze" from Adult Contemporary's Tony Watson that retains the languid feel of the source but slips in a nice retro MPC thrust. On the flip, Peter Visti tackles "Childhood Memory", an as yet unleashed Coyote jam which contrasts nicely with the inclusion of Aeroplane's elegant rework of "Too Hard" from all the way back in 2007!
