If you've yet to check Folamour's superb debut album, Umami, do yourself a favour and check it out sharpish. Here a quartet of artists offer up fresh rubs of some of their favourite jams from the criticallu acclaimed full-length. Glassy-eyed Balearic deep house specialists Session Victim kick things off with a brilliantly breezy, melodious and positive rework of "Devoted To U", before Sheffield-based East Midlander Thatmanmonkz goes all jazz-funk on a sweet and rolling revision of "Y'all Right". The EP's most obviously peak-time take arrives at the start of Side B, where Austin Ato serves up a sax-wielding take on "Ivoire" that seems to have boundless energy, before Byron The Aquarius steals the show with a sublime tech-soul-meets-deep-house interpretation of "Look At Me Or I'll Steal Your Eyes".
