Gallegos's brand new label Room Service brings some breakbeat heat direct to your door. It comes after the artist has made plenty of big moves with EPs on Holding Hands and Banoffee Pies with his sample heavy, rave ready sounds. Opener 'Good 2 Me' pairs a heart-aching vocal sample with bright keys and scruffy garage kicks that get you going immediately. 'Hey Gene!' is another carefree and playful fusion of tight drum programming and catchy sampling, then 'Old Timers' slips into a more seductive and late night deep house vibe before the crisp, airy breakbeats of 'Bangerang' make for a left of centre dreamscape that allow you a moment to breath. A fantastic EP.
