Over the years Garth Be has been spotted in a few different guises in the house underground. The Manchester-based producer has dropped albums on Sweet Sticky in the past as well as delivering 12"s to Stillove4music and Hudd Trax, and now he's been snapped up by Ruf Dug for this extended outing on Ruf Kutz that displays the breadth of his talents. "Falling Leafe" is a beautiful slice of dreamy, laid back piano house while "Amo K" channels an equally blissful Larry Heard style. "To Too Much 2" is a different beast with its minimalistic Chicago approach, but there's also much promise buried in the all-too-brief beatdown "Sleepytimeboogie".
