Lost My Dog's resident Frenchman Giom teams up with US jock Derek Dunbar for some house movements on Amenti! Confusingly commencing with Giom's remix of their collab, "Poulet Gaufre", you are eased into subtley jacking territory filled with filtered sweeps, off kilter vocals edits and all encompassing synth washes. The original version which follows, sticks to a straighter rhythmic template, cleverly building towards a bumping mid section driven by a tasty filtered bassline. Dunbar's version on the flip uses a heavyweight bass drum which demands playtime on a big sound system. Rounding matters off is "Takin Em Black" which drops the tempo to head nod pace, cutting up synth hits and sampled vox over crisp beats and a snug bass line.
