It's a big Marcy Hotel love in here as No Regular Play's Greg Paulus gets the remix treatment from the likes of Soul Clap, Denis Kurtel, Slow Hands and Double Standard boss Gadi Mizrahi. The whole crew take on tracks from previous Greg Paulus output on Double Standard with Soul Clap taking on "Suchashame", retaining the melancholic core of that woozy trumpet but replacing the crisp electro jack with delightfully lazy and off kilter drum programming. This contrasts nicely with the remix of "UR" from Crosstown Rebels' new star Denis Kurtel that reappropriates Paulus' experimentalism for some shuffling late night menace - what a bassline! On the flip Slow Hands comes through with two remixes with the latter "What's Mine Is Yours" effort impressing most thanks to the crisp beats and the kaleidoscopic melodic colours that come to engulf the track. The same track is dragged into whole other sonic sphere by Wolf + Lamb's Gadi, a bass heavy rattle through unpredictable beat programming which lends Paulus' distinctive croon a decidedly haunting menace.
