Italy's mainstay of quality house and techno Bosconi Records comes forth with the first instalment in its expansive Stallions compilation series, drawing on collaborators from the label past and present. Herva drops more of his crafty, soul-enriched deep fare with a heartfelt sample and a mean switch-up breakdown, while Rondenion heads into lush and tumbling house with a techy undertone to the main chord hook. Riccio meanwhile gets spiritual with the flute-heavy meanderings of his sumptuous "Put The Man Out", and San Proper & The Clover deliver a haunting and adventurous message thick with live instrumentation on "Voices".
