After wowing the deep house heads with his double pack debut on Wild Oats last year, this 7" curio from K15 for the Detroit label's new sister operation No Room For Air brings some wholly different sounds to bear. "Mist" keeps things strictly melancholy with moody keys draping themselves over a most gentle of downtempo beats in a style that would gel perfectly with Floating Points' most mellow moments. "Twilight" goes even further out with a beautiful ambient excursion, but the real star of the show is the ethereal remix of Zhane's "Crush", adding a haunting emotional dimension to the '90s RnB classic that will melt every heart in a ten block radius. A real talent this one!
