An album called The Rebels Have No King credited to Kujo is never going to be lighthearted. But then this is Modular Mind, the Lebanese label that has been taking no prisoners since 2016, allowing artists free rein over their adventures in sound. All of which makes the back catalogue - including this latest addition - particularly difficult to categorise.
Some would call this industrial electronic, others noise, some wouldn't have time to call it anything before running out of the building desperately looking for something more fun. More fool them. From the word go, The Rebels sucks us deep into a place of reverberations, filtered noises, alien languages and dystopian soundscapes. A knife-edge journey through uncharted wildernesses that never lets up. A brooding, purpose built ghost house where spirits are synths and demons drum machines.
If you decide an product is not suitable within 14 days of delivery, you can return it to us for a replacement or refund. Returns must be unused and in their original, undamaged packaging.
