Lindstrom and Todd Terje are currently duking it out for title of "busiest Norse disco deity of 2012" and this latest release on Smalltown Supersound ensures the duo are level pegging as the year slips towards its close. Lindstrom is preparing to unleash his second LP of 2012 in the shape of the Terje assisted Smalhans - due out in November on Smalltown - and Terje extends two of the album's tracks as an exercise in high octane appetite whetting. Both "Ra-Ako-St" and "Ed-Ged-Osis" are typical Lindstrom; delightfully melodic, with an air of space disco pomposity, propelled forwards by the sort of dynamic, arpeggiated synthesizer lines that have become his trademark For the record, it's the rush-inducing "Ed-Ged-Osis" that impresses most - it's well Scandolearic, in case you wondered.
