Lorenzo Morresi is an Italian DJ, producer and musician who now makes his debut on bristling London label 22a alongside the boss Tenderlonious. This 7" is an album sampler of Italian library inspired disco-funk that draws on the sound's 70s heyday. It was a shared love of this sound and this period that brought these two artists together having first played together at a gig in Italy in 2017. Having finally got together to record, they have mixed up contemporary analogue inspired arrangements and experimental, joyful, playful sounds that are as good at home as they will be on the 'floor. The album drops next year, and this is a fine taster.
