Brazilian songwriter Marcos Valle is a celebrated artist across the genres, from bossa nova and samba to rock fusion, soul and jazz. After reaching dizzying heights with his pop compositions through the 60s and 70s, he was having fun with synths and boogie cuts in the 80s, which is around the time he crafted the workout-friendly tracks 'Esterlar' and 'Bicicleta'. The latter now gets pressed up on 7" backed with the equally catchy 'Beta Menina', a curio of Latin American music with a cover image worth the price of entry alone.
