Fachwerk turns 30 and it's a family affair as Mike Dehnert, Sascha Rydell and Roman Lindau all contribute solo productions as well as offering a cherry in the pie in the shape of a collaborative cut named in honour of their milestone release. "Fachwerk 30" is furthermore notable for the fact they've worked with vocalist Sophia, but fear not Fachwerk fans this is no ill advised attempt to take on Defected as the singer's contribution is woven into the very fabric of a trademark concrete funker. The complementing three solo productions will be just as satisfying for Fachwerk fans; Dehnert presents his usual marriage of grainy textures, off kilter sounds and scraping drums with "FK" whilst "The Yeah Thing" finds Roman Lindau in playful mood. Those seeking something heads down will find solace in Sascha Rydell's superb "Palinka Girl". Here's to another 30 Fachwerk!
