Dan Snaith's latest career mutation as Daphni continues to reap rewards, as the talented producer adds Carl Craig's legendary Planet E to his already bustling CV. His two remixes of "Modular Pursuits" by No Boundaries fully succeed in providing visceral dancefloor thrills, with the A Side featuring heavy drums, insistent vocal samples and discordant acid lines which all meld together for a wild analogue climax. Flipside and the Daphni Cwejam Dub is somewhat less abrasive with busy drums combined with dark riffing, but the end result is largely similar- highly effective but uncompromising techno. Much like everything else Snaith touches, this limited hand stamped twelve inch comes highly recommended!
