Optimo Music's occasional Disco Plate series rarely fails to hit the spot, delivering a range of reissues and original material inspired by the original party ethos of disco. This latest installment - a second in the series from former Putsch '79 man Sami Luiski and Plastique Du Reve man Christophe 'Daze' Dasen's Noo project - is arguably the strongest yet. "Must Be The Music" is a stone cold dancefloor killer - a contemporary disco jam that bobs, weaves, rises and falls for 10 mesmerising minutes and comes packed with classic instrumentation, addictive vocals and a fantastic percussive breakdown midway through. Flipside "Heaven's Gate" is an altogether breezier, more Balearic outing, but no less brilliant.
