Second time around for Marc Mac's second full-length outing under the Nu Era alias, which first surfaced back in 2013. Like other releases under the pseudonym, it explores the versatile artist's love of electro, IDM and Detroit techno. His usual fizzing jazz-funk synths also make an appearance here and there, and there's a loose and languid feel even to the more dancefloor-focused cuts. Highlights include the Motor City sci-fi flex of "Eighty Seven", the rich jazz-funk/electro fusion of "Dream Frequency", the bubbly dancefloor rush of "Dye Meshun" and the hardware-driven crunchiness of fine closing cut "Microchip Angel".
