Amos Childs and Sam Barrett came through with an excellent debut for Idle Hands in 2015, under the incorrigibly enigmatic O$VMV$M moniker. Their first, self-titled album, was a magnetic blend of glitchy, minimalistic drone-dub, and the duo return with something just as special here. This is actually their third LP to date, and they've decided to retain the name, clearly focussed on instilling their sound as an artistic trademark. This is incredibly on-point because, just like their first effort, the music on here resides in a world of its own, a dense sonic stratosphere made up of chilling electronics and; while significant parts of this LP would be typically categorised as 'ambient' or 'drone', these two producers have added enough grit, charm and texture to make this a work of true quality throughout.
